Employer and Community Engagement:
Borough ‘Enterprise Challenge’- Students learned how to take risks & be decisive
‘Getting Ahead’ annual business conference‘Head to Head’ annual mock interview event
Work Experience for over 400 students per year
Provided a funded ‘Train the Trainer’ programme,part of an Employability Initiative to facilitatebusiness awareness in young people.
Educational visits enabled students to learn about
the history of the UK’s central bank and potential careers in banking and finance
LifeSkills Presentation on Post-16
training & apprenticeships
Business advisers worked with 6th Form students during a management consulting workshop.

‘A’ Level Students Careers in the City Half-Day Seminar
Annual event for students who learned about future career opportunities in the City
of London
Barclays Bank ‘Business Day’
Business students participated in a money skills session followed by networking with
volunteers from Barclays.
Year 12 ‘Uni Dosh’ sessions Money sessions were part of UCAS
preparation to help students understand finance and funding for Higher Education.
Presentation to Business students by the Prince’s Trust on their structure and shareholders and how they help young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. Followed by a presentation
from a Prince’s Trust beneficiary.

AMT Business Student workshop
Students learned about CVs, career decision-making, recruitment, interviews and financial
skills in a 100-minute workshop with AMT.
Practice Interviews20-minute mock interview practice with AMT
providing verbal and written feedback on performance
Educational visit for students to seeover 120 exhibitions from different organisations, industries, universities & Colleges
Bird & Bird Pioneer ProgrammeMentoring, skills development and work
