Bethany Christian Care is a long-established, charitable aged care provider, with a total resident population of about 470, and around 220 staff, across three campuses on Brisbane’s southside – at Eight Mile Plains, Graceville and Manly West (with another, at South Redbank Plains, in the planning).

Obviously, our staff play a vital role in this, which is why, in all our Position Descriptions, Key Selection Criterion (KSC) No.1 stipulates: Demonstrated ability to work within the mission, vision and philosophy of Bethany Christian Care. Of course, how well you meet the other Key Selection Criteria for the job (as per the Position Description) is also very important, and this will be raised with you later (should we opt to take your expression of interest to the next step). Besides possessing a compassionate attitude, a key motivation we look for in new staff is a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the quality of life of elderly people, and to place them at the centre of each and every task.
