EMPLOYMENT SERVICES OF SOUTH
AFRICA
ESSA – ONLINE
STEP BY STEP GUIDE FOR
EMPLOYERS AND WORKSEEKERS
Department of Labour
PRESENTATOR: SONIA HORNSBY
The ESSA system was introduced to the public back in 2007,
at the Department of Labour’s 125 Labour Centres across the
country.
At first, individuals had to stand in queues to get registered
but recently the system was upgraded and ESSA Online was
implemented.
The ESSA Online was first introduced to the Employers with
the Jobs Fair on the 5th July 2012, in Richards bay.
More and more employers, are making use of the ESSA
System.
