Objective

• Precision Agriculture Project aims to:

• Reduce Cost of fertilizer used by farmers by providing timely and accurate

information

• Capture the tacit knowledge of framers and plantation managers to ensure

that best practices are followed

• Build crop model for High Value Vegetables, Cash Crop and Industry Crop

Scope• Develop a Knowledge Exchange Portal for sharing information across different

crop stakeholder, government agencies and farmers.

• Use of technologies, such as

to access and understand variations.

• Use Semantic Technology to develop a Crop Model that will be used by the

Decision Support System (DSS) to make:

• accurately predict crop yields
