23 Apr (W) – Depart USADepart on your international overnight flight.

24 Apr (H) – Arrive in England, CambridgeArrive this morning in London, where our representative will greet you andescort you to your bus. We’ll journey north to Cambridge, a source ofeducation for early reformers such as William Tyndale and Pilgrim leaders.A visit King’s College includes the Chapel that houses Rubens’s TheAdoration of the Magi. Cambridge has been a celebrated University townsince 1209 when a small group of students who were fleeing from riot-tornOxford established a seat of learning there. At the “White Horse” tavern, agroup of men introduced concepts from the German Reformation toEngland. Sidney Sussex College here produced Oliver Cromwell, leader ofboth Protestant and Republican reforms in England.

25 Apr (F) –Boston, Lutterworth, CoventryThis morning, we’ll travel to Boston, home to St. Boltoph’s Church, built in1319. John Foxe was born here, when this was a vibrant coastal city.We’ll visit the Guildhall, where Puritan leaders were held in 1607 for tryingto depart for Holland and freedom of worship and dissent from the Churchof England. Then journey on to Lutterworth. Here John Wycliffe served atthe Parish Church of St. Mary, and worked on the translation of the Bibleinto the English language. On the evening of November 14, 1940, aholocaust of bombs and fire destroyed much of Coventry. Experience thepain and the triumph of the townspeople when you visit the beautifulcathedral. The charred ruins of the old cathedral sit next to the excitingarchitecture of the modern cathedral. They stand together as a tribute tothe indomitable spirit of the British people. Tonight, you will join the peopleof Coventry Cathedral for Evensong.

26 Apr (S) – Elstow, Olney, and OxfordThis morning we journey to Elstow to see church of John Bunyan's earlychildhood. Enjoy a tour of Bedford, home of John Bunyan and visit theBunyan Museum here. We’ll continue to Olney to see John Newton'sgrave. We’ll journey to Oxford, home to a stream of church reformers fromWycliffe (Balliol College) to Tyndale and Foxe (Magdalen) to Brasenose(Foxe) to Christ Church (Wycliffe, john and Charles Wesley) to Lincoln(John Wesley). It was here that the Holy Club inspired the Wesley’s,George Whitefield and others to reach out beyond the established churchto the unsaved masses in England and the New World. We’ll walk the cityand some of the colleges here.

27 Apr (U) – Gloucester, North Nibley, Bristol and BathThe city of Gloucester boasts a small church that changed the world! You’lllearn about George Whitefield, who grew up in the congregation of St.Mary de Crypt. Known as the greatest orator of his day, GeorgeWhitefield’s talents led him to minister in America. St. Mary de Crypt also

produced Robert Raikes, founder of the Sunday School movement. BothWhitefield and Raikes had a profound influence upon Wesley. Wesley lefthis fellowship at Lincoln College to take over Whitefield’s Bristol ministry,leading to the founding of the "New Room". He also embraced RaikesSunday School movement. At St. Mary de Crypt, the first Women’s Societywas founded. Stop at the monument to Tyndale erected in his home townof North Nibley, before continuing to Bristol. Here is one of Wesley’s earlycenters of ministry, the “New Room”. This oldest Methodist building in theworld is unusually attractive in its basic simplicity. Then visit the home ofCharles Wesley, the famous hymn writer. Bath, a spa town of Romanorigin, deserves its name. Since the first century, the warm waters haverefreshed and healed. You’ll see the unique Roman baths and enjoy thisbeautiful city of 18th century streets and quaint shops.

28 Apr (M) – Windsor, Runnymede and LondonVisit the martyr’s site before continuing on to Windsor to visit the traditionalhome of the British Monarchy, Windsor Castle. Here you will explore thestate apartments (if open), which house a fabulous collection of treasuresincluding works of art by Van Dyck, Rubens, and Rembrandt. We also visitSt. George’s Chapel, the burial place of the last ten Sovereigns of theBritish Empire. Free time to explore the picturesque streets of Windsor isgiven before busing by nearby Runnymede, the site of the signing of theMagna Carta. Our local guide will take us on a panoramic sightseeing tourof London before stopping in near Westminster Abbey. This famous churchwas where the Westminster Confession of Faith was written and is thelocation of many of the graves of many of the world’s most famous peopleincluding many of the early Kings and Queens of England. You will havetime to walk around this area of London. End the day at our London hotelwhere we will spend the first of two nights in one of the world’s mostbeautiful cities.

29 Apr (T) – LondonHer Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress, also known as the Tower ofLondon is a historical monument that sits on the banks of the ThamesRiver in the heart of London. William the Conqueror began originalconstruction in 1078. The history of London and the Kings and Queens ofEngland still reverberate in the buildings and grounds. Reformers such asSir John Oldcastle were imprisoned here during the repression of theLollards in the 1400’s. Continue to St. James Palace, where the flames ofEngland’s Reformation found a voice in the desire for Henry VIII to have amale heir to the throne. We’ll then head to Bunhill Fields Cemetery, knownas the “cemetery of Puritan England.” Walking through the cemetery, youwill see the graves of John Bunyan—Pilgrim’s Progress, Isaac Watts--noted hymn writer, Daniel Defoe—Robinson Crusoe, Susannah Wesley—mother of John and Charles Wesley, as well as members of the Cromwellfamily. Also the writer, John Milton, lived in Bunhill Row on the west side ofthe cemetery from 1662 until his death in 1674. Across the street, we visitthe Wesley Church located at the Wesley House and Museum and thelocation of his gravesite. The Chapel has been the Mother Church ofMethodism since the 18th century. We’ll walk the church of St. Gileswithout Cripplegate. The shell of the church dates back to the 1500’s, andreformers such as John Foxe, Robert Crowley, Oliver Cromwell, and laternotables such as John Milton John Bunyan and Daniel Defoe areconnected with this church that was outside London in their day. The restof the day is yours to explore.

30 Apr (W) – Canterbury and GrenwichThis morning, we will check out of our London hotel and bus to Canterbury,the ecclesiastical capital of England. We tour the historic CanterburyCathedral where Thomas a Becket, the Archbishop of Canterbury, wasmurdered by four knights of Henry II in 1170. While many of the originalstructures were dismantled during the Dissolution of the Monasteries,Canterbury rose again to prominence as home to French Huguenotsescaping persecution and the Mayflower contract to transport Pilgrims tothe new world. We’ll journey to Greenwich Observatory, where theNational Maritime Museum is. The park rises towards Blackheath wherenearby a major group of buildings within the park is the former RoyalObservatory, Greenwich and the Prime Meridian passes through thebuilding. Greenwich Mean Time was at one time based on the timeobservations made at the Royal Greenwich Observatory. Return to theLondon for dinner and overnight.

PRICE INCREASESAll prices quoted in this brochure are subject to change if not paid in full due to currencyfluctuations, fuel surcharge increases, government taxes and fees increases orunforeseen circumstances. You will be notified immediately upon discovery of anincrease and will have the option of paying the difference or canceling with full refund.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Price is based on double occupancy. When available, single rooms are often smaller thandoubles. While EOT will try to match roommates, EOT cannot guarantee a roommate will beavailable. Roommates may be assigned as late as 35 days prior to departure and, if one is notavailable or you request a single room, the following charges apply: $448 for basic itinerary; $298for London Pre-tour.

AIRLINE ROUTES and TICKETS:In order to keep prices low, EOT does not guarantee the most direct routing to your finaldestination. Once “printed”, airline tickets cannot be changed or refunded thereafter. Airtransportation to/from your destination will be economy class on IATA and ARC carriers utilizingAPEX or SUPER APEX non-refundable, non-amendable tickets for groups of 10 or more flyingtogether on entire itinerary.

FLIGHT TIMES:All flight times are subject to change by the airlines without advance notice. EOT is not responsible for such changes or delays and does not reimburse expenses resulting fromsuch delays. If making own flight arrangements to departure city, we recommend you purchasea ticket which can be changed without large penalties.

ITINERARY CHANGES:Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this brochure. While you will see all siteslisted in this brochure, the order of sites and/or days and number of days may be altered toaccommodate changes in airline, hotel schedules, and local conditions. Due to airline schedules,some participants may receive one or two extra leisure days at a nominal per day charge andsome extensions may not be available on all departure dates. If itinerary changes necessitate extraovernights, you will be charged $120 per night; single rooms $160 per night. Meals for extra nightsare not included.

CANCELLATION FEES: 100% of Cancellation Fees are covered by the optional Travel Protection Programprovided premium has been paid and reason for cancellation is insurable. Those who donot take travel protection should be aware of the following cancellation penalties: Fromday of registration to 105 days prior to departure, you will be charged the $100 non-refundable administrative fee plus any airline fees. Additionally, thereafter, you will becharged any airline penalties and a single room supplement if your cancellation forcesyour roommate into a single plus the following charges: 104-60 days = $400; 59-45 days =$600; 44-31 days = 40% of total cost; 30 days to day of departure = 100% of total cost.Submit cancellation in writing. On or after day of departure, no refund for any services notused.

FIT TO TRAVEL STATEMENT:Passengers registering for the tour accept the responsibility for being in good health andable to walk and travel on the tour. Because many of the sites are not accessible to thephysically challenged , those needing wheelchairs, oxygen, or other ambulatoryassistance will find the tour extremely limiting in their experiences.
