The conference will seek to highlight the breadth of areas and the scale of the opportunity for energy efficiency to accelerate the transition to a user-led and low carbon energy system. In bringing together a range of actors and views, the conference will facilitate new ideas for collaboration, share learnings from different sectors and identify new project opportunities. Energy efficiency can provide benefits to users in domestic and commercial properties as well as systemic benefits. These wider benefits of energy efficiency can include a reduction of peak energy demand, healthy and comfortable homes, and reducing users’ bills, thereby unlocking the smart energy system. Supported by CMS, the half-day conference will be split in two sessions and offer opportunities for networking. Session One will focus on how efficient buildings can facilitate flexible and smart energy systems. Following this discussion, Session Two will explore exciting ways of unlocking this potential, with a focus on the roles of wider actors in the energy system, finance providers and emerging business models. Bringing EnergyTogether

Conference Details

We are delighted to announce our inaugural Energy Efficiency Conference, taking place at CMS’ London office on 1 October 2019.
