Water distribution Company
Energy efficiency of water pumping stations is improved by automatingremote management and control of
specific water distribution processes.
Between 80% and 90 % of the electricity purchased is used for
pumping.
In this project we valorize 25 MW of flexibility. We have received between
[330k€ - 400k€] from the TSO.

Demand Prediction ModelsSchedule of an optimal consumption profile
based on prices predictions on the Day-ahead
1.
Nominate consumption to the Balancing Responsible Party
2.
Deviate from the nomination to size price opportunity on the Imbalance market. Trade flexibility and recalculate an optimal profile
3.
Reduce the global consumption of the site to punctually answer to TSO requests on Tertiary Reserve to drive additional fixed revenues
4.

Real & Forecasted Power Consumption
Smart Water & Smart Demand Response remotely control pump stations by taking into account time of day power tariffs achieving major savings in pump operations by shifting the pumps operation from peak periods to mid and
off-peak periods and drive revenues based on Demand Response curtailment requests.
