WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CONTRACT MEDICAL PRACTIONERS OVER DL

DIVISION

A walk in interview will be organized for filling up vacancies of full time General Duty Medical

practitioners on contract basis in Divisional Railway Hospital, Northern Railway/ DLI Division. The period

of contract will be for one year. On satisfactory Completion of the contract period of one year, the

contract may be extended. The retired Government Doctor can be engaged of one year each up to 65

years of age. Retired Government Doctors are also invited in walk-in Interview for engagement on

contract basis. Eligible candidates are invited on the date, time and venue given below:

Remuneration:

Category of CMPs Monthly Remuneration (in Rs.) 75,000/ GDMO

1. Name of the post Contract Medical Practitioner (CMP) (GDMO) on full time engagement.

2 Nature of Engagement

The engagement is purely on contractual basis for one year or till regularly UPSC selected

Doctors (ADMO/DMO/Sr.DMO) become available whichever is earlier. Further, the service of

these doctors is also terminable before the expiry of one year. The service renderedas

contract doctor is a stop gap arrangement and will not have any bearing in respect of

consideration of the period in case of regular selection through UPSC. It will also not confer

any right for automatic regularization/absorption in any circumstances.

One set of 1 Class complimentary pass for self &Family during each Contract which be

issued after three months of regular contract service (except retired railway doctors)

Contract Medical Practitioner can avail free medical treatment for self only other

conditions apply.

Expenses on out station journey connected with contract work will be borne by the daily

allowance at specified rates will be admissible for such work.

Qualification:-

MBBS from a recognized university and must have completed rotating internship for one

year and should be in possession of a valid registration certificate of any of the state council

Candidate who fulfill above terms and conditions and having requisite qualification should

present on the schedule date, time and venue with their original certificate and one photocopy

of following certificate.

1. Photocopy of date of Birth certificate.

2. Photocopy of Educational qualification certificate.

3. Photocopy of Experience certificate

4. Caste Certificate registration with medical council (in case of candidates belonging to

reserved community)

5. Two passport size photographs.

Age (a) Not exceeding 50 yrs. As on 01.01.21 (5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and

03 years for OBC.

(b) Not exceeding 65 years for retired IRMS Officers/retired Govt. Medical

Officers of state Govt. and Central Govt. subject to maximum five terms of one

year each.

(c) Reservation policy will apply as per extant rules.
