Extended TeamThe extended team model is used when the client wants to maintain control of the overall management of the projects being worked on. Pyramid resources will continue to work with the client’s resources, but will drive the project forward to completion, along with any required deliverables. Some of the key characteristics of the turnkey solutions model include:

Hybrid – Seeded Automation TeamPyramid offers a unique staffing model that allows a client to automate quickly, while avoiding the upfront costs of knowledge transfer to the automation team. Manual testers are seeded into key system areas, manually testing while gaining knowledge of the systems. This knowledge is then utilized to identify automation candidates that can then be automated by the automation team. Some of the key characteristics of the turnkey solutions model include:

• Pyramid resources are integrated into each testing area’s resource pool• Seeded testers are trained to identify and communicate automation candidates to the Pyramid automation team• Seeded testers execute manual test cases as part of the team, learning the product, while providing value and become part of the automation team, as appropriate.
