We mounted a Cisco AP near the ceiling so that the ducks could be almost exactly at the same height as the ceiling mounts dipoles. The dipoles were the same distance apart as the ducks.

What were we interested in?

Comparing ceiling mount dipole antenna with “rubber duck” antenna directly attached to WAP.

What is the building attenuation? Loss between wall, loss between floors?

Do different data collection applications give different results?
