Draw-Space (2D/3D) Integration

The CATIA Draw-Space (2D/3D) Integration product fully integrates the 2D and 3D CATIAenvironments. The system can automatically generate drawings and section cuts from 3D data with user-controlled 2D to 3D associativity between models. Surfaces canbe automatically generated by sweeping these shapes across 3D curves resulting in highquality surface and skins, avoiding costly iterations. Develop

The CATIA Develop product allows design engineers to quickly define an associativeflattened pattern from their 3D CATIA model for manufacturing from flat sheets of rawmaterials. GPO helps you to produce optimized products in less time. You input the parameters andthe system automatically optimizes your design. Your load and constraint values aredisplayed dynamically with each iteration. And you can study the evolution of all youranalysis results though a history viewer. GPO, used with GPA (above), enables you toanalyze designs on the fly and get instant data on mass, displacement and principlestresses. Generative Part Dynamic Analysis

This product allows users to perform dynamic (modal) computation on parts and soprovide insight into their critical behavior resulting from vibration. Rough Cutting

The CATIA Rough Cutting product is an integrated option for the Fixed Axis Milling and Multiple Axis Milling products. Users can concentrate on manufacturing intent due to the system’s integration with the other NC milling products. NC programmers are able to use a variety of planar roughing techniques with full collision avoidance on formed or rough stock material. With reduced user interactions, users produce a part with a minimal amount of material available for finishing. (5626-NRC)

Milling Analysis

CATIA Milling Analysis enables numerical control (NC) programmers to optimize tool choice and part positioning to increase milling efficiency and to validate a previously computed tool path before machining. The product consists of two analysis tools: Pre-cut Analysis to evaluate the effects of different tool options and Post-cut Analysis to determine the areas that require cleanup. NC programmers who use three to five-axis NC milling machines to mill stamps, dies and molds as well as other parts with difficult to access regions, can increase their efficiency and reduce costs. Prismatic Machining Programmer

CATIA Prismatic Machining Programmer provides entry NC programming functions dedicated to basic machining operations. Based on the geometry, the user creates machining operations by querying the technological database which stores a company’s specific manufacturing environment. Thus, the correct machining elements for are defined (machine and tools, tool speed and rotation, and the type of machining (drilling, planar milling or point to point). ProductManager: Product Documentation Director

By providing secure access and control of product data, ProductManager allows entireenterprises to share information in a controlled manner. Product information, includingproduct design information, assembly structure and bills of materials, can be stored and accessed from within a corporate data vault. Allowing multiple departments tosimultaneously access product information enable simultaneous engineering, thus reducingengineering cycle time. By facilitating access to information, ProductManager increasesengineering efficiency, reducing overall product and engineering labor costs.(5765-605 f/c 0002)

ProductManager Director

Including the functions of Product Documentation Director, ProductManager Director can automate manual release processes. Electronic sign-off capabilities allow multipleindividuals or groups to simultaneously review proposed product changes, andelectronically approve or reject these changes. Electronic notifications reduce delays in theoverall process, reducing time required for engineering change processes from weeks tohours. Capabilities also exist for managing a product configuration over time, includingmaintaining the product definition data, product structure, features and variants,and effectivity. ProductManager: SAP Integration Service

A real-time, bi-directional integration between ProductManager and SAP’s R/3 ERP/MRPsystem allows an organization to tightly link a design environment with downstreamprocesses. Simultaneously, manufacturing engineers are able to access productdefinition information from ProductManager.
