    The decoder of aptitude is a type of front equipment with

    DVR. The DVR will control the PTZ, Camera Lens,

    Auxiliary switch and so on through the decoder of aptitude.

    The decoder of aptitude can assemble all kinds of multi-

    protocol DVR. Without setting a protocol, it will decode

    code automatic quickly according to inner code of protocol

    then it will control the front equipments.

    The simple decoder of aptitude has a group of function

    that controls every group of power of camera, brush,

    lamplight and so on.

    The decoder of aptitude is unsuitable for the place

    flammable and explosive. Be careful to select the suitable

    working voltage for PTZ and Camera Lens when the

    decoder connects them.

    The decoder of aptitude adopts communication of RS-

    485 Bus-mastering. DATA+ is a port of 485+ sign; DATA- is

    a port of 485- sign. GND earth.

    The standard RS-485 equipment connects the decoder of

    aptitude with two core shield twisted lines. The line is not over

    1500m .

    The farthest decoder should be a 120ohm of shunt between

    485+ and 485- when several decoders connect each other. Thediagram of connection as follows:

    to GND in correspondence between Rs232 / 485 converter

    Specification:1. Select value to be consistent with pan/tilt working

    voltage AC24V/AC220V through (P/T VOLTAGE)

    2. Auxiliary, lamplight and brush control switch is NO.,

    user may adopt according to actual needs.

    CHARPTER 8Communication protocol, Baud rate setting

    Coding switch possess 4 switches, they divide into protocol

    coding switch and Baud rate coding switch. Protocol coding

    switch consists of 1-2, changes the coding for select differentprotocol. Baud rate coding switch consists of 3-4.changes

    the coding for select different Baud rate.

    CHARPTER 9PTZ and Camera Lens auto check itself The decoder of aptitude can check itself and can

    control PTZ, Camera Lens through coding switches.

    Power off. Coding switch 3,4 set ON, the others setOFF.

    Power on .The Len checks itself, the light works.

    1. Fix the decoder firmly on a suitable place

    2. Set correct address coding according to the number

    of camera

    3. Connect all lines according to the instruction for the

    connection and confirm them where are right.

    4. Operate controller, when the decoder receives

    correct orders, the light CODE flash quick on end.

    CHARPTER 11FAQ

    Fault1: The indicator doesnt work

    Answer:

    1. Is the supply power voltage is right?2. Are they contact plug with socket?

    3. is fuse burn or loose?

    Fault2: The decoder cant be operate by DVR

    Answer:

    1. Is the connection between DVR and the

    decoder of aptitude right?

    2. Whether address coding switch setting the

    same with DVR

    3. Decoder control line length whether over

    1200m.
