New Game introduced this week: Whose story is it? or Kahaani

Children split up into groups and

discuss an incident or story

from their lives with their

teammates. They all then

individually present it to the

rest of the class. The

audience must guess which

story belongs to whom from

the group.

This helps the children

enact each other’s story.

Each child must narrate the

story like it’s their own.

Also it helps them use

improv skills and think on

their feet when they are questioned about their stories.

Other games played this week included concentration games like

Countdown & Opposite ques.

Events gone by:

Spell-Bee: “Spelling is important because it aids in reading. It helps

cement the connection that is shared between sounds and

letters.” Children participated earnestly in the event. Their efforts and

initiative was appreciated by one and all.

International Tiger Day

Global Tiger Day, often

called International Tiger Day, is

an annual celebration to raise

awareness for tiger conservation,

held annually on 29th July.

Learners from Grade 1-7 got an

opportunity to interact with the

guest speaker, Mr. Kenneth

Augustine, who told them various

amazing unknown facts about

tigers. It was followed by a quiz

and a badge making activity wherein learners took a pledge and wrote a

slogan on tiger conservation.
