In 1997, François Salomon, the son and grandson of the founders of the Salomon brand, joined together with two designers passionate about the luxury and cosmetics sectors to create the DJ-PACK company located on the shores of Lake Annecy.

The company very rapidly became the Alpine specialist in luxury cosmetic packaging, but its attachment to sports and the mountains was also strong. It therefore decided to launch a new project in 2009, the development of its own cosmetics line.

It created a brand reflecting its origins and diversity, with the motto : “Vitality, purity and beauty”.

Technical innovation, at the heart of progress in the outdoor sports sector, can offer sports enthusiasts increased well-being and comfort. The creation of new products to meet new needs must take place without polluting the environment.

At Annecy Cosmetics, we design products to improve the comfort of sports enthusiasts and travelers while respecting the principle of “producing more while polluting less”.

To minimize our environmental impact, we use local supplies, prefer organic ingredients, and design compact packaging to reduce waste.

Annecy Cosmetics sun care products, ideal for extreme conditions and sensitive skin, offer twofold protection from sun damage: they offer wide protection (in compliance with the new European directives) and effectively prevent the skin from drying.

The UV index increases by 10% every 1000 meters in altitude. In addition, the wind and cold can mask the warming sensation. In the mountains, exposure to the sun is extreme and we recommend the use of high protection indexes (SPF30 and SPF50+).

“Solar lip balms to protect one of the most sensitive areas of the body: the lips.” When exposed to the sun, lips dry out and burn rapidly. The mucosa of the lips is not the same as that of the face, since it contains less sebaceous and sweat glands, and is thus more vulnerable to aggressive outdoor conditions (sun, cold, wind, salt). Sunburned lips are extremely painful and take a long time to heal. We recommend the use of our wide pro-tection solar lip balms when exposed to the sun for a long time: they prevent the skin from drying out and provide high-level protection.

It gently warms up muscles and limits the risk of muscle trauma linked to sports.

Active ingredients from the mountains to prevent muscle aches: made of essential oils of thyme, wintergreen and silver fir that have anti-inflammatory and invigorating properties. These active ingre-dients are recommended to prevent and treat muscle pain and are much appreciated by athletes. Capsicum extract: activates the skin’s heat receptors without increasing skin temperature.

Usage recommendations: apply before sports and gently massage into muscles and joints. Wash hands after use. Avoid contact with eyes. Not appropriate for pregnant women or children under 12.

It relaxes and soothes after sports while helping muscle recovery.

Organic menthol and glycerin: intensively nourish skin and provide a cooling feeling to help recuperate after sports. Arnica and mallow: help reduce muscle stiffness thanks to their soo-thing and anti-inflammatory properties. Essential oil of petit grain: obtained from twig leaves, it has soothing and calming properties. Oil recommended for after sports.
