Last year we visited Greece. First, we went on a plane from London to Athens, and then we went a boat to the island of Hydra. The journey from Athens was only hour and a half. Hydra is a beautiful, small island with friendly people. The one thing that is different about this island is that there are no cars or buses! The only form of transport are donkeys and bikes! Our ‘taxi’ to the hotel, which was at the top of the town, was a donkey. Because there were five of us, we went on five donkeys! It was fun. At first, this was a little weird, but then I really enjoyed the peace and quiet! No noise or pollution from cars or buses. It was magic. – Debra, 12
