You will complete:
1) Paper 1 on 10th November – International Relations, 1919-1939, and USA, 1919-1948 (1 hour 45 minutes)
2) Paper 2 on 12th November – Migration to Britain, 1000-2010 (1 hour)
3) Paper 3 on 20th November – Impact of Empire, 1688-1730, and Spitalfields (1 hour 15 minutes)

Music – Year 11 Mock Exam, Autumn Term 2020 • Monday 16th November, 1.30pm: 1 hour 45 minutes listening exam. You need to revise all the set
works we have covered by the time of the exam, and be able to confidently describe their musical features:

Following an OFQUAL consultation the decision has been made to make 2021 assessment for FINE ART 100% personal portfolio (coursework) and to remove the externally set assignment (exam).
We believe this is very good news as it gives us more time to ensure your personal portfolio submissions are of a standard that shows your full potential without the pressures of an additional externally set exam unit of work. It will also give us the opportunity to tailor the project work to get the best out of you.
You will still have the important opportunity to complete work in 10-hour sessions providing a valuable chance to create extended pieces of work. You will still sit these sessions during the mock exam period and in a final session before Easter.
I am sure you will agree that this is a welcome change; however, we must be mindful of the fact that this also means that everything you work on in lessons and for homework will count towards this 100% submission and that if we find ourselves in a second lockdown we may, like this year, have to rely on centre-assessed grades.
