BACKGROUND

O Enhanced Call VerificationO Requires the Alarm Monitoring Company to

attempt contact with the alarm owner using two or more different telephone numbers before contacting the Police Department when an alarm is activated.

O Burglary Alarms Only – this does not include Panic Alarms or Armed Robbery Alarms

RECOMMENDATION

Police Department to continue to monitor our alarm calls for service and our partnership with CryWolf for one more year.

Determine if a decrease in police response to false alarm calls for service continues and provide quarterly updates.
