It has deployed a multilingual online federation of learning repositories, populated with quality content from various content producers. In addition, it has also deployed a multilingual online environment (the Organic.Edunet Web Federation portal) that will facilitate end-users’ search, retrieval, access and use of the con- tent in the learning repositories (available at: http://www.organic-edunet.eu). Today’s teachers need to be prepared to provide technology-supported learning opportunities for their students. Being prepared to use technology and knowing how to that technology can support student learning have become integral skills in every teacher’s professional repertoire. Teachers need to be prepared to empower students with the advantages of technology can bring. Schools and classrooms, both real and virtual, must have teachers who are equipped with technology resources and skills and who can effectively teach the necessary subject matter content while incorporating technology concepts and skills. http://project.organic.edunet.eu http://www.ea.gr/ep/metaschool/
