    Biography of Enrique Bunbury

    Enrique Bunbury, whose real name is Enrique Ortiz de Landazuri Izardui, was born onAugust 11, 1968. With twelve years he bought his first electric guitar and began playing

    in 1980 in a group called "Apocalypse." Later he played in the band "Rebel Waltz",

    which got played drums and voice.

    Since 1984 he was part of several groups, such as "entropic process," "The censorship of

    The Tales" or "Three Years of Grief".

    Despite this long career and dance groups, Enrique Bunbury's reputation would not be

    fully recognized until 1987 formed the "Heroes del Silencio", with Juan Valdivia.

    His nonconformity and his insatiable desire to search led him to undertake long journeys

    (to separate bound by their tour with the band), through its idolized planet. So excited by

    his readings Orientalists, visit a few times in India and Nepal many others. Later,

    Castaneda discovered through deep Mexico and Latin shamanic traveling to Chiapas,

    Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Guatemala and Belize. Neither Cuba resists, this timeguided by the magic santeria. Its last major discovery (which shapes sound form on his

    latest album) is the Arab world, the nearest east. During the last year four timesMoroccan soil treads, travels to Tunisia and Jordan remembers his time.

    Self-taught musician, in all these trips is acquiring indigenous instruments. In Benareslearns to play the sitar, in Marrakech and the Berber IRMS Cuba bongos.

    Enrique Bunbury in 1992 produced the CD "Dreams In Black And White" groupZaragoza Las Novias. In 1993, working in the chorus of the CD "Heaven Knows" from

    District 14. In 1994 created the independent label "reverse Records". The record

    company released the albums: "All / Nothing Remains The Same" Zaragoza Las Noviasgroup (co-owners of the label) and the compilation album "Zaragoza Live" with 22 bandsZaragoza.

    In 1996, edits, directs and writes in the journal independent monograph "AvalancheMagazine" and is working on a couple of books on Heroes Del Silencio

    After the breakup of Heroes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury started his solo career,releasing "Radical Sonora" in 1997. Two years later he published "Small" and 2000

    "Little Traveling Cabaret."

    In 2002 publishes a new work entitled "Flamingos". "Flamingos" regain the taste forguitars, it turns Bowie releases the first single, "Lady Blue", and delves into the

    electronic, Latin sounds, rock and roll, jazz, honky tonk rhythms or New Orleans. A

    varied album from an artist round victim of a massive musical restlessness.

    In 2008, Enrique Bunbury publishes "Hellville de Luxe". 'Hellville de Luxe' the name of

    the home and studio of Zaragoza is the singer in Puerto de Santa Maria, has served toname this album, after four years without publishing new solo material. Produced by Phil

    Manzanera, the album was recorded in Gerona and mastered in New York, and is around

    Bunbury rock sound that made him a star.

    In 2011 Bunbury released a double CD compilation, entitled "Big Rex", in which the

    artist makes a long review of his musical career. The album was recorded during the three

    concerts Bunbury and the Holy Innocents gave in the "Big Rex" in Buenos Aires inNovember 2010 during the American tour of his album "Consequences".
