Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:52

Section 1. FY 2018 Appropriations. The following sums of money are appropriated for the53

fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018. These are additions to amounts54

previously appropriated for fiscal year 2018.55

Subsection 1(a). Operating and Capital Budgets. Under the terms and conditions of56

Title 63J, Chapter 1, Budgetary Procedures Act, the Legislature appropriates the following sums of57

money from the funds or accounts indicated for the use and support of the government of the state of58

Utah.59

(B) if the estimate described in Subsection (3)(e)(ix)(A) is not available, an amount2487

determined by the Governor's Office of Management and Budget, estimated by adjusting an available2488

April 1 decennial census count or by adjusting a fiscal year population estimate available from the2489

United States Census Bureau.2490

Section 4. Effective Date.2491

If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, Section 1 of this bill2492

takes effect upon approval by the Governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of2493

Utah Constitution Article VII, Section 8 without the Governor's signature, or in the case of a veto,2494

the date of override. Section 2 and Section 3 of this bill take effect on July 1, 2018.2495
