Wednesday, 22 July 2015 Today we went to a performance in the hall. The performers were students from high schools in the Illawarra. There were dancers, singers and musicians in a band. The performers did some jazz and Irish dancing, they sang lots of songs and played music very loudly. Alicia’s brother Jiah played a trombone. The dancers wore different outfits for each dance. In one of the dances they lifted one of the girls up in the air. Some of us sang along with the songs. For one dance, they got up two of the teachers - Miss M and Mr C. They looked embarrassed! Some of the children in 1H felt embarrassed too when the boy singers bent down and sang just to them or when another one of the boy singers lay down in the aisle next to us. We thought the performance was amazing, fantastic, funny and a little crazy. The dancers were pretty and colourful. The boy singers looked cool and the girls were fabulous. The musicians were very talented. We hope we get to see them perform again. By 1H
