COMPANY PROFILE

Entelec, established in 1992, has grown to be a world class player developing intelligent management systems. With thephilosophy Innovation in Integration', Entelec has created the Sky-Walker Integration Platform.

Originally, the company started off as an engineering company providing HVAC installations. As these

systems within buildings became more diverse and complex, Entelec anticipated the need for one

uniform graphical interface to manage the entire building or sites infrastructure. And so the

Sky-Walker Integration Platform was born.

We developed this solution, in-house, to provide the efficient management of buildings, tunnels, airports,

railroads, subway stations and transportation or other complex infrastructures. An intelligent, open

operations & systems management platform has never been so easy to use.

Today, many companies all over the world are using this software to deliver integration projects.Entelec uses its network of value added resellers to provide its integration solutions all over the world.

The European Commission, Abu Dhabi Financial Centre, Cargolux airport, Jamaican underground and

the national railway company of Belgium are just a few reference projects where they make use of the

Sky-Walker Integration Platform.

Going international

In 2006, Entelec started working outside Beneluxs borders. CEO Miet Loix: "In order to keep up with

these international projects, we opened offices in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom." And there

are more to come", says Mrs Loix. "We plan on continuously growing and expanding to new countries.

Our aim is that each local market has its own dedicated sales and project department."

Philosophy

Using IP Matrix in combination with the Sky-Walker Integration

Platform allows your operators to use cameras, sequences and

salvos simply and efficiently. Using different programs to control

your cameras is no longer an issue.

Want to switch a certain stream on your matrix? Simply drag &

drop any camera from any map to view on any screen. Chang-

ing the view? The mux selection form helps you layout-wise.

Choose a preset grid and change your entire layout with one

click!

Salvos are the most simple and straightforward way to view

multiple cameras at once. Configuring different salvos allows

you to switch between pre-defined combinations of camera

images, allowing you to get an instant overview. View a selec-

tion of camera images in any order by running sequences.

Using the PTZ function (pan-tilt-zoom) can now be done with

a simple right mouse click on the appropriate camera image in

the matrix.

Entelecs IP Matrix is a video integration solution that allows the display and control of CCTV equipment by building its own virtual

Medical Centre of the Haaglanden

The MCH is a clinical training hospital in the Hague area. It provides its patients

hospital care with quality and dedication to anyone who needs it. The Medical

Center works with two locations. To ensure an efficient management, their

graphical user interface is equipped with a navigation structure consisting of

layers. This way, operators can easily switch between the MCH buildings.

MC Haaglanden asked Niscayah, Entelec's partner, for advice on a tailor made

solution. Requirements? Clarity and efficiency. No more mimic boards, but an

innovative integration solution with the possibility to upgrade if necessary.

Connected systems: CCTV, access control, fire prevention, PLCs

Prison HasseltEntelec provides the Prison of Hasselt with a high performance security

management system. With the ability to offer a complete site overview and

manage the buildings internal devices, security is substantially optimised.

The building is monitored from 9 convenient control rooms. Some are used as

backup workstations for others, some are operated on a 24/7 basis.

The Sky-Walker Integration Platform now monitors and controls doors, panic

buttons, intercom, and the perimeter detection system. Eighteen graphical

workstations are available, all equipped with touch screens and spread over

the control rooms.

Ghent University

Ghent University (UGent) is a Dutch-speaking public university located in Ghent,

Belgium. Here, they use the Sky-Walker Integration Platform as a safety and

security management system for the entire campus.

With this system, operators monitor and manage all 15 sites and 90 buildings

at once. These are available in 1 control room with four servers. Workstations

are operated on a 24/7 basis.

Park House

For the 500,000 sq ft Park House integration project, Entelec teamed up with

Dimension Data. This company specialises in information technology services,

with focus areas including network integration, security solutions and data centre

solutions.

Park House is the biggest development on Londons famous shopping street in over

40 years. The creative and contemporary design provides retail accommodation,

office space as well as high quality apartments.

Connected systems: BMS, (emergency) lighting, fire detection, access control, CCTV,

metering, lifts, document management and a common network system

European CommissionEntelec introduced the Sky-Walker Integration Platform to the European Commission

in 2000. More than ten years later, their systems have evolved and changed and so

has the platform.

With the Integration Platform, installations for over 35 of their buildings can now be

monitored and controlled, including the headquarters in Brussels, Berlaymont. Most

of these buildings have a graphical workstation for local handling of alarms during the

day.

tricity distribution: high & low voltages

ASDA Stores

This British supermarket is the UK's second largest chain by market share. It retails

food, clothing, general merchandise, toys and financial services.

ASDA security chose the Sky-Walker Integration Platform to be their central moni-

toring application for the management of their diverse security technologies across

stores, distribution centres and offices.

The platform as provided for ASDA is equipped with the following features: Entelecs

CCTV viewing component IP Matrix, e-Reports (view and analyse important informa-

tion) alarm handler and interactions.

Connected systems (initially): access control, intercom, alarms and CCTV.

Antwerp train station

The Sky-Walker Integration Platform supervises one of the most important

railway stations in Belgium: Antwerp Central Station. A 3.8 km underground

railway tunnel now enables both national as well as international trains to use

tracks under the city leading to Antwerp or to the Netherlands.

The Sky-Walker Integration Platforms server is configured in a hot standby con-

figuration on a redundant network. The main dispatching centre is equipped

with a video wall, displaying both video and the graphical applications.

Connected systems: waste water treatment, fire detection & prevention, CCTV,

HVAC, elevators, regular & emergency lighting, etc.

Motorway and tunnel, LiegeThe E25/E40 tunnel and motorway was the long awaited link between the mo-

torways of northern Europe and those of southern Europe. The infrastructure

also facilitates the flow of traffic penetrating the city.

Here, they use advanced alarm scenarios for the tunnel. Interactions automat-

ically take place. In case of alarm the CCTV system records images and the

video walls matrix switches to the appropriate cameras.

Connected systems: fire detection, intrusion detection, access control system,

CCTV, traffic management system (loss of charge, traffic jam, vehicle driving in

the opposite direction, etc.)

Cargolux

Cargolux is one of the leading cargo airlines worldwide, operating scheduled

and charter services with a network covering all continents.

Their newly constructed hangar is now monitored and managed with the help

of our Sky-Walker Integration Platform. Its innovative design is aimed at con-

serving energy and preserving the environment. This project was provided and

implemented by Socom, one of our partners in Luxemburg.
