We’ve hand-selected potent calming oils to facilitate complete relaxation. A well-balanced blend of geranium, basil, bergamot and lavender essential oils combined with grape seed oil, this essential oil mix soothes even the busiest mind and eases tension from tired muscles.

Achieve a truly blissful state with this unique blend of essential oils. Gently floral ylang ylang, rich sandalwood and lavender together with grape seed oil quiets the senses and enables ultimate repose.

Sensuality

This spirited blend seeks to awaken the senses with a combination of arnica oil and the essential oils of rosemary, lavender and zesty peppermint. A reviving, all-enveloping aroma.

Energiser

Royal Thai Stretching 50 minutes

Steeped in traditional, this ancient Thai massage system features the rhythmic kneading of pressure points along with invigorating stretching of the entire body. Gentle pushes and pulls are combined with full muscle extensions, with deep pressure applied along sen lines to unblock energy and relieve tension.

Deep Tissue Massage 50 minutes

Enter the full embrace of a therapeutic deep tissue massage. Steady, penetrating pressure is applied liberally to ease sore, fatigued muscles. An intense session followed by a warm glow.

This massage relieves tension in your feet and lower legs. It incorporates traditional reflexology by applying pressure to specific points to stimulate, cleanse and balance the body’s internal organs. An invigorating foot scrub and soothing peppermint gel will leave you perfectly pampered.

Couples’ Treat 50 minutes

Created just for couples, this sweetly synchronised full-body massage is applied in the luxurious surrounds of our couples’ suite. It includes a deeply relaxing massage followed by a private soak in our aromatic floral bath.

The enveloping aroma of herbal oils combined with marma point massage make this Ayurvedic-inspired massage truly uplifting. Appointments

Sun Aqua Spa accepts walk-ins when possible, but to avoid having to wait, we recommend you make an appointment. If you schedule at least two hours before your treatment we’ll have time to prepare your room and you’ll have time to enjoy the Spa facilities.

Cancellation Policy

If you can’t make it to your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can. Cancellations received within three hours of scheduled appointment will be charged at 50% the cost of the service.

Dress Code

For the comfort of all Sun Aqua Spa guests, we request you remain appropriately attired at all times. We provide a langote (loincloth) for use during treatments, or you are welcome to wear your own undergarments, as Sun Aqua does not encourage nudity.

Aromatherapy Oils

If you’ve just had a treatment with one of our deliciously fragrant aromatherapy oils, let the oils soak into your skin for at least a few hours before showering. You’ll not only smell great, you’ll reap the full holistic benefits of essential oil.

Facials

Sun Aqua Spa offers a rich range of facials that can treat anything from fatigue to sunburn to stress. To enhance your beach-side beauty, schedule a nourishing, exfoliating facial, or plan one for every day of your stay and go home looking luminous. For best results, gentlemen should shave around four hours prior to receiving a facial.

Exfoliation

Exfoliation is an important part of any effective facial. Using nutrient-packed natural ingredients our scrubs remove dead cells from the skin and cleanse it from impurities. This leaves your skin perfectly primed for your facial treatment.

Wet Area

Our luxurious wet area is free for guests of the Spa. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment to make the most of our steam room, sauna and pool. Just remember to shower before using the Wet Area.

Gift Certificates

Give the gift of relaxation. Sun Aqua Spa gift certificates are available at the Spa. Please note they are not exchangeable for money, but you can use them as a partial payment, or for more than one treatment, up to their value.

Relaxation Area

Sink into island pace by spending some quiet time in our relaxation area before and after your treatment. Use your time at Sun Aqua Spa to meditate, or sip on some herbal tea while you enjoy some downtime.

Prohibitions

We know the food at Sun Aqua Resorts is irresistible, but we do ask that you refrain from bringing any into the Spa area. We also ask you not to chew gum, smoke or make loud noises around the treatment rooms.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Sri Lankan rupees and are inclusive of taxes.

Payments

You don’t need to worry about anything when you come for a Sun Aqua Spa treatment – and that includes handling cash. For your convenience, we will charge all treatments and retail products to your room account to be settled on departure.
