Description
Fundación Repsol launches the Entrepreneurship in VTinitiative, which aims to teach VT students how to be entrepreneurs and develop a technology-based business project with help from an advisor (a VT professor) and a Repsol volunteer.
The volunteers will mentor the teams throughout the process of conceptualising the business model.
You can find more information about this project here. Purpose
To promote technology-based entrepreneurial culture between Vocational Training students and professors through a working model that brings together companies, VT schools, and society as a whole. Beneficiaries
Students in their 1st or 2nd year of advanced VT in the following professional disciplines:

Description: Motivational talks lasting about 60 minutes will be held in four different schools in each zone. Entrepreneurs who students will find relatable will be invited to speak to explain the project Participants: Mostly students and professors from the schools. Location: School halls. Time table: Third week of October.

Description: One Hackathon will be held in each area. Students will form teams of three to present a solution related to technology-based entrepreneurship. A group of experts will lead 2-hour practical workshops to advise the team on how to generate ideas. A committee of experts will select 20 outstanding students to take on the role of team leader.. Professors' opinions will also be taken into account. Participants: Students who previously sign up for the motivational and informational talks and two professors from each school. The volunteers can attend to learn about the project in more detail, depending on availability. Location: Space with capacity for 180 people. Time table: Third week of November.

Description: A training course consisting of six 4-hour workshops (approx. three afternoons in two weeks) will be held for each zone so that students, professors, and Repsol volunteers canmanage their work teams for the remainder of the program. Participants: Two professors from each participating school and the 20 students who have been selected as team leaders. At least six Repsol volunteers will be able to attend the training in each zone. Location: TBD (a school)
Time table: second week of December and second week of January.

Description: Teams will be made up of a student leader who will
coordinate other four colleagues, a professor to advise them and at least one Repsol volunteer collaborating as a team mentor. Participants: Repsol volunteers, professors, 20 student leaders per zone 80 new students chosen per zone, the majority of them coming fromthe Hackathon event. Location: Schools: Time table: Second week of January.

Description: The teams will receive the support of the area coordinator, professor, and Repsol volunteers in putting together a business model. The student leader will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the team, assigning tasks and roles, as well as keeping the area coordinator informed about their team's progress. In this phase, the teams will have to generate business ideas, formulate a business model with the Business Model Canvas, validate the idea for potential customers and learn to successfully communicate it.
Participants: Teams made up of five students, one advising professor, and at least one Repsol volunteer. Location: Schools and areas chosen freely by the teams for their work, which may even be outside the school or educational centre. Time table: Nine weeks from January to March.

Description: A championship will be held in every area where the teams defend their project before a panel of judges.
The teams will have three minutes to present their business idea. The best idea from each area will be chosen, and a symbolic prize will be given to the winning students. Participants: The participating teams. Of course, the volunteers may attend the event as well. Location: A space such as a school hall will be chosen for each zone. Time table: Second week of March (Date to be determined).

Role of volunteers
• Participate as advisors, helping teams with the development of their business idea. • Meet with the team at least every two weeks, either at the school or at another
location. • The volunteers can coordinate with the students to meet with them as their
availability allows. • The volunteers will always have the support of a coordinator from the CISE area,
who will also coordinate the teams of students. • The CISE will create a methodology guide to assist the volunteers in their work.
Requirements for participation
• Be a Repsol employee or retired employee. • Profile: volunteers with a technical profile. Other profiles will also be considered. Registration
Until 28th November, via the Repsol Volunteering Portal.
Places will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
