R ecent cooling measures to the Singapore property landscape coupled with

O n 19 Feb 2013, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak were

accompanied by what has been described as the largest gathering of Cabinet ministers from both sides of the Causeway to unveil the wellness projects in Iskandar Malaysia. Avira, the name of the 210-acre resort wellness project in Medini, was unveiled.

VICTORY ANNEXE OPENS at the E&O Hotel

A stunning addition to the legendary Grand Dame of Penang has made its debut, marking a full circle in the Eastern & Oriental Hotel’s illustrious history. Victory

Annexe, named in the 1920s to commemorate the British war victory, is the E&O Hotel’s new wing, which reopened recently on 15 March 2013. It is the super-luxe version of the E&O Hotel for discerning guests.

The 15-storey new wing has 122 sea-view suites, six banquet halls, a coffee house, a

gymnasium and a swimming pool. Guests staying at the Victory Annexe enjoy

exclusive privileges such as complimentary non-alcoholic beverages from the mini

bar and Lavazza coffee machine in the room. Also included in the all-encompassing

room rate are daily breakfast and all-day coffee/tea as well as evening cocktails with

canapés at the Planters Lounge from 5pm to 7pm.
