工学は，物理学や化学などの基礎科学分野におけ

る原理と法則をもとに人類文明の持続的発展を恒

久的に探求する学問です。本学府では，工学を通し

て人類文明の持続的発展に貢献できる研究者・技術

者・教育者の育成を目的としています。

本学府での就学を目指す学生には次のことが期

待されます。

・基礎知識を踏まえて応用研究に取り組む意欲の

ある学生

・新しい学問分野に挑戦する積極的な学生

・忍耐力をもって真実探求を推進できる学生

・技術者としての倫理観を有する学生

Engineering is the study and investigation, based on

fundamental scientific principles such as physics and

chemistry, for the sustained development of human

civilization. The Graduate School of Engineering aims to

cultivate researchers, engineers, and educators who can

contribute to the sustained development of human

civilization through engineering.

Students who wish to study in the Graduate School

are expected to have the following:

･A desire to undertake applied research based on

fundamental knowledge

･A positive attitude towards learning new fields of study

･A steadfast ability to advance the pursuit of truth

･A strong sense of engineering ethics

工学府には，物質創造工学専攻，物質プロセス工学

専攻，材料物性工学専攻，化学システム工学専攻，

建設システム工学専攻，都市環境システム工学専攻，

海洋システム工学専攻，地球資源システム工学専攻，

共同資源工学専攻，エネルギー量子工学専攻，機械

工学専攻，水素エネルギーシステム専攻および航空

宇宙工学専攻の１３専攻を置き，教育研究を通して

エネルギー・物質・環境・システムに関する深い専

門知識と探求創造能力を教授育成するとともに，高

い倫理観と国際性をもって工学に携わる研究者・技

術者・教育者を組織的に養成します。

本学府では，この目標を達成するため，以下のよう

な教育を行います。

・基礎から応用にわたる高度な専門知識についての

体系化された教育

・哲学，倫理，政治，経済，国際関係等に関する広

い知識教育

・豊かな人間性，課題探求・解決能力，創造性を育

む教育

The Graduate School of Engineering has been

organized into the following advanced departments:

Chemistry and Biochemistry, Materials Process

Engineering, Materials Physics and Chemistry, Chemical

Systems and Engineering, Civil and Structural

Engineering, Urban and Environmental Engineering,

Maritime Engineering, Earth Resources Engineering,

Cooperative Program for Resources Engineering, Applied

Quantum Physics and Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical

Engineering, Hydrogen Energy Systems, and Aeronautics

and Astronautics. The aim of each department is the

promotion of a deep expertise and creative ability

concerning energy, materials, the environment, and

systems, as well as the systematic training of researchers,

engineers, and educators with high ethics and

internationalism.

To achieve these aims, the Graduate School provides

education on the following topics:

･Systematic and advanced specialized knowledge,

ranging from fundamental principles to applications

･Broad knowledge concerning philosophy, ethics,

politics, economics, international relations, and so on

･Development of a creative and well-rounded human

nature, and the ability to search for and solve problems

1．出願資格 Qualifications for Application

出願することのできる者は、次の各号のいずれかに

該当する者とする。

(1) 修士の学位又は専門職学位を有する者及び令和

2 年(2020 年)3 月 31日**までに有する見込みの者

(2) 外国において，修士の学位又は専門職学位に相当

する学位を授与された者及び令和 2 年(2020 年)3 月

31 日**までに授与される見込みの者

(3) 外国の学校が行う通信教育における授業科目を

我が国において履修し，修士の学位又は専門職学位

に相当する学位を授与された者及び令和 2 年(2020

年)3月 31日**までに授与される見込みの者

(4) 我が国において，外国の大学院の課程を有するも

のとして当該外国の学校教育制度において位置付け

られた教育施設であって，文部科学大臣が指定する

ものの当該課程を修了し，修士の学位又は専門職学

位に相当する学位を授与された者及び令和 2年

(2020 年)3 月 31日**までに授与される見込みの者

(5) 国際連合大学の課程を修了し、修士の学位に相当

する学位を授与された者及び令和 2年(2020 年)3 月

31 日**までに授与される見込みの者

(6) 外国の学校、学校教育法施行規則第 156条第 3

号の指定を受けた教育施設又は国際連合大学の教育

課程を履修し、大学院設置基準第 16条の 2に規定す

る試験及び審査に相当するものに合格し、修士の学

位を有する者と同等以上の学力があると認められた

者

(7) 文部科学大臣の指定した者

1) 大学を卒業し、大学、研究所等において、2 年以

上研究に従事した者で、本学府において、 当該研

究の成果等により、修士の学位を有する者と同等以

上の学力があると認めたもの

2) 外国において学校教育における 16年の課程を修

了した後、又は外国の学校が行う通信教育における

授業科目を我が国において履修することにより当

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions: (1) Persons who hold a Master's degree or a Professional

degree, or who will earn one by March 31, 2020**.

(2) Persons who hold a degree equivalent to a Master's degree

or a Professional degree from an accredited institution outside

of Japan, or who will obtain one by March 31, 2020**.

(3) Persons who have completed their formal education by

taking a correspondence course through a non-Japanese

university while residing in Japan, and hold a degree

equivalent to a Master's degree or a Professional degree, or

who will obtain one by March 31, 2020**.

(4) Persons who have earned a degree from a graduate

program at an educational institution in a country outside of

Japan, which has been assessed by the Minister of Education,

Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan to be

equivalent to a graduate program in the education system of

Japan, or who will earn one by March 31, 2020**.

(5) Persons who completed the course of the United Nations

University, who hold a degree equivalent to a Master’s degree,

or who will obtain it by March 31, 2020**.

(6) Persons who have completed their formal education by

taking a correspondence course through a non-Japanese

university, an educational institution which received the

designation of Article 156.3 in Enforcement Regulations for

the School Education Law, or the United Nations University,

who have passed an examination or a screening equivalent to

the regulations by Article 16.2 in Standards for the

Establishment of Graduate Schools, and who are recognized to

have an academic ability equivalent to Master’s degree holders

by the Graduate School of Engineering.

(7) Persons who have qualifications approved by the Minister

of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of

Japan

1) Those who, after graduating from a university, have

engaged for two or more years in research at a university or a

research institute, and have been recognized to have an

※上記(7)又は(8)により出願する者は，事前に出願資格の審査を受けなければならない。

** CSC 奨学生として，令和 2 年(2020 年)10 月 1 日

に入学を希望する者は，上記各号に記載された「令

和 2年(2020 年)3 月 31 日」を，「令和 2年(2020年)9

月 30日」に読み替えること。

academic ability equivalent to Master's degree holders. This

recognition is given by the Graduate School of Engineering,

Kyushu University, on the basis of his/her previous research.

2) Those who, after finishing 16 years of academic education

through correspondence courses run by foreign educational

establishments have engaged for two or more years in

research at a university or a research institute and have been

recognized to have an academic ability equivalent to

Master's degree holders. This recognition is given by the

Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu University, on the

basis of his/her previous research.

(8) Persons who are evaluated by an individual screening of

requirements for admission to have an academic ability equal

to or surpassing that of students who have graduated from the

Master’s or Professional Program of the Graduate School of

Engineering, Kyushu University, and are at least 24 years of

age as of the enrollment.

* Persons who intend to apply in accordance with

qualification (7) or (8) to the Doctoral Course are required

to submit to an individual evaluation of their scientific

ability in relation to the Requirements for Admission

before application.

**If you wish to enroll in October 1, 2020 as a CSC

scholarship student, the date of “March 31, 2020” in all

paragraphs shall be read as “September 30, 2020”.

3．出願書類 Application Documents

出願者は、予め指導を希望する教員と相談の上，コー

ス長へ出願する予定であることを連絡すること。

(1) 願書：本学府所定の用紙に，志望専攻及び履歴事項

をもれなく記入すること。

(2) 照合票・受験票：本学府所定の用紙に，所要事項

を記入の上，写真を貼ること。

(3) 修士学位論文（写）：修士課程修了見込の者は，

研究経過報告書（A4 判 2 枚，2000 字程度）又は研究

概要（A4判 2枚，2000 字程度）を提出すること。

出願資格(7),(8)により出願する者は提出を必要と

しない。

(4) 選択科目届：応用化学・材料工学・化学工学グロ

ーバルコースの受験者（CSC出願予定者のみ）必ず提

出すること。

(5) 研究業績概要調書：出願資格(7),(8)により出願す

る者だけが提出する。本学府所定の用紙に本人が記入

すること。

(6) 研究計画書：出願資格(7),(8)により出願する者だ

けが提出する。入学後に行う研究計画を本人が記載す

ること。（様式随意）

(7) 修了（見込）証明書：最終学校が作成したもの。修

了見込み者が合格した場合，4 月入学者については 3

月末日までに，10 月入学者については９月末までに修

了証明書を提出すること。提出できない場合は不合格

となる。提出できない可能性がある場合は，「6．出願

資格の事前審査」を申請すること。

(8) 成績証明書：学部及び大学院修士課程（又は博士前

期課程）成績証明書。出願資格(7),(8)により出願する

者は学部成績証明書のみ。

After the consultation with the supervisor who applicants

want to study under, applicants are requested to contact the

Chairperson of International Doctoral Program with e-mail or

facsimile.

(1) Application form for admission：Complete the form

prescribed by our Graduate School

(2) Collation card, and Examination admission card：Complete

the form prescribed by our Graduate School and

passport-grade photograph must be attached.

(3) A photocopy of the Applicant’s Master’s thesis：

Applicants who confirm expected graduation should submit

the research process report (2 papers of A4 size, 2000 letters)

or the research outline (2 papers of A4 size, 2000 letters). This

is not required for applicants who intend to apply under

qualification (7) or (8).

(4) Registration of Elective Subject: This is required for only

CSC Candidate who intends to choose the Departmental

Group of Materials, Applied Chemistry, Materials Science and

Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

(5) Outline of research achievements：This is required of

applicants who intend to apply under qualification (7) or (8).

Complete the form prescribed by the Graduate School.

(6) Research plan：This is required of applicants who intend to

apply under qualifications (7) or (8). Describe a detailed

research plan to be undertaken after entrance. (Any format is

acceptable)

(7) Master’s Degree Certificate (Diploma or Expected

Diploma): To be issued by the university from which the

applicant graduated most recently. Applicants who are

expected to complete master course must submit the

(9) 出願資格認定申請書：出願資格(7),(8)により出願

する者だけが提出する。本学府所定の用紙に本人が記

入すること。

(10) 在留カード（写）：日本国に在留している外国人留

学生のみ提出すること。

(11) パスポート（写）：写真のページ

(12) 入学検定料振込レシート：30,000 円

ただし，本学大学院修士課程から引き続き進学する者

及び VIED-MOET 留学生は不要。

Enrollment or by the end of September for October

Enrollment. In case you cannot submit it, Kyushu University

will cancel your admission. If you have a possibility that you

cannot submit it, please refer to "6. Individual Evaluation of

Academic Requirements".

(8) Academic Transcript：To be issued by the undergraduate

school and master course (or the first stage of doctoral course)

of the graduate school. Applicants who intend to apply under

qualification (7) or (8) may submit the undergraduate school’s

certificate.

(9) Application for Recognition of Academic Requirements:

This is only required for persons who intend to apply in

accordance with qualification (7) or (8). Applicants may fill

out the provided.

(10) A photocopy of Alien Registration Card: Only

international students who are currently residents in Japan

must submit.

(11) A photocopy of your passport, including the pages with

your name, nationality and photograph.

(12) Transfer Receipt of Screening Fee: 30,000yen

This is not required to submit for applicants who still enrolled

from Master Course of Kyushu University, or who are

VIED-MOET Scholarship Students.

4．入学検定料 30,000 円 Screening Fee 30,000yen

下記 3種類の方法から１種類選んで，令和 2年(2020

年)1月 3日（金）以降に入学検定料を支払うこと。また，

必ず令和 2年(2020年)1 月 15日（水）までに入金され

るように手続きすること。

Please choose from one of the three payment types

below and pay the screening fee after January 3 (Fri),

2020. Also, please make a payment without fail by

January 15 (Wed), 2020.

（A）入学検定料は，振込用紙の氏名欄に志望専攻とコー

ド：3TE を記入のうえ，「電信扱」で下記の銀行口座に

振り込むこと。

(1) 必ず日本円で送金してください。

(2) 送金時にかかる全ての手数料を負担してください。

(3) The documents for the application should be sent by

registered special delivery mail, or otherwise be brought in to

the office described above. “Application form for admission

to the Doctoral Course (International Doctoral Program) of

the Graduate School of Engineering” or “Application form

for admission to the Doctoral Course (CSC) of the Graduate

School of Engineering” should be written in red on the

envelope.

(4) The documents for the application via postal mail should

arrive at Kyushu University no later than January 15 (Wed),

2020.

6．出願資格の事前審査 Individual Evaluation of Academic Requirements

出願資格(7),(8)より出願する者は，事前に資格審査

を行うので，予め指導を希望する教員と相談の上，コ

ース長へ出願する予定であることを連絡し，出願書類

の(1),(2),(4)～(11)を令和元年(2019 年)12 月 23 日

（月）から 12 月 27日（金）までに，九州大学工学部

等教務課に提出すること。

なお，結果については，令和２年(2020 年)1月 8 日

（水）までに，コース長から申請者あて通知する。

また，資格審査に合格した者の入学願書等は入学検

定料受領後，自動的に受理する。

Persons who intend to apply in accordance with

qualification (7) or (8) to the Doctoral Course are required to

submit to an individual evaluation of their scientific ability in

relation to the Requirements for Admission before

Affairs Division, the Graduate School of Engineering,

Kyushu University from December 23 (Mon), 2019 to

December 27 (Fri), 2019.

Notification of the evaluation results will be mailed to the

Applicants from the Chairperson of the program by January

8 (Wed), 2020.

Moreover, after the screening fee is accepted, the

application documents submitted by the successful applicants

are automatically accepted.

8．合格者発表 Announcement of the Result of Screening

令和 2年(2020 年)2月 14 日（金）午前 9時頃に本学

工学部等教務課掲示板に発表するとともに，合格者に

文書で通知する。

（http://www.eng.kyushu-u.ac.jp/e）に掲載します

が，これは情報サービスの一環として行うものであり，

公式の合格者発表は上記に記載しているとおりとす

る。

掲載予定日時 令和 2年(2020年)2月 14日（金）午

前 9 時頃なお，合格者発表に関する電話等による問い

合わせには一切応じない。

On February 14 (Fri) 9:00am, 2020 the result will be posted

on the public notice board of the Student Affairs Division,

the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu University.

The result will also be sent by postal mail to the successful

applicants.

*While the official announcement of successful applicants

will be made as shown above, for convenience the examinee

number of successful applicants will also be displayed on the

faculty of Engineering’s webpage

(http://www.eng.kyushu-u.ac.jp/e/). This is scheduled to be

on February 14 (Fri), 2020 at around 9:00 am.

We do not answer any inquiries about results over the

10．入学手続

Enrollment Procedures

入学手続書類は，合格者のうち 4月入学者には，

令和 2年(2020 年)2月中旬頃，10 月入学者には，令

和 2 年(2020 年)8 月中旬頃送付するので，所定の期

日までに入学手続を完了すること。

1-1) 入学手続期間（4 月入学）令和 2年(2020年)3

月 9日（月）から 3月 13 日（金）まで

1-2）入学手続期間（10 月入学）：令和 2年(2020 年)

９月初旬

2) 入学手続の際に納付する経費等

① 入学料 282,000 円 (予定)

② 授業料 半期分 267,900円 (予定)

（注 1）上記の納付金額（入学料・授業料）は予定額

であり，入学時及び在学中に学生納付金改定が行わ

れた場合には，改定時から新たな納付金額が適用さ

れる。

（注 2）CSC留学生については，授業料は免除される。

11．障害等のある入学志願者について

本学では，障害等のある者に対して，受験上及び修

学上必要な配慮を行う場合があり，そのための相談

を受け付けている。

受験上の配慮については，内容によって対応に時間

を要することもあるので，令和元年(2019 年)11 月 8

日（金）までに「14.問い合わせ先」まで相談するこ

と。

disabilities who may require special arrangements during the

12．長期履修制度について Period-extension System

工学府では，学生が職業を有する，或いは障害があ

る等の事情により，標準修業年限を超えて一定の期

間にわたり計画的に教育課程を履修し修了すること

を希望する場合に，その計画的な履修を認める制度

を導入している。

この制度の適用を申請し認められた場合，納付す

る授業料総額は標準修業年限分でよく，標準修業年

限分の授業料を計画した履修年数で除した額を毎年

納入することになる。

なお，手続等の詳細は，入学手続時に通知する。

The Graduate School of Engineering has introduced the

Period-extension system.

This system enables those who are employed or have

disabilities or other difficulties to complete a doctoral course

over a longer period than the regular period.

Once declaration is acknowledged, the total tuition fee will be

the same as that for the regular period.

In addition, the application details of this system will be

detailed upon notification of the entrance formalities.

13．その他

Others (1) 願書受理後は，記載事項の変更は認めない。また，

検定料の払い戻しは行わない。

(2) 受験票未着の場合は，試験当日までに工学部等教

務課に申し出ること。

(3) 自然災害等による入試日程への影響が懸念される

場合には，工学府インターネット webサイトのトッ

プページで実施についての告知をするので確認をす

ること。

(4) 在留資格認定証明書（留学ビザのため）の取得や

宿舎の申込み等については，合格発表後に別途通知

応募と採否の報告について

九州大学からの合格通知書を受け取った者は，速や

かに国家建設高水平大学公派研究生項目への応募を

行うこと。CSC から奨学金の採択，または不採択通

知が届いたら，6 月末までに九州大学工学部等教務

課に採否を報告すること。

(1) No application documents will be returned to the
