LIVING QUARTERS

Specialist Services has an extensive engineering and design capability that can support a variety of Living Quarters solutions. These include inte-grated fabrication as part of the overall platform fabrication, to single lift block builds in our own facility and modular build for optimal transport and rapid installation.

Living Quarters for offshore applications are engi-neered and constructed to world class standards for people in the field with all the facilities of a five star hotel within the hazardous environments while still meeting stringent specifications and standards. Providing a safe environment offshore is manda-tory in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, we en-sure that our projects are driven with this in mind and the engineering, design and specification of materials is organised to ensure internationally compliant safe environments. E-HOUSES

Our welded steel plate construction in con-junction with a range of HVAC solutions – from standard split units to Zone I certified package HVAC – provides the most robust, packaged solution for your switchgear, UPS and other electrical equipment needs. Supplied to site as a fully connected and tested package, e-hou-ses are the perfect solution for sites where site access is problematic for climatic, security or personnel housing reasons. E-houses are equally well suited for use in both green and brown field applications both on and offshore.

Offshore applications are particularly demanding when it comes to providing a solution that is as weight efficient as possible. When traditional steel construction methods are too heavy for existing or new platform structures, Specialist Services has a range of solutions in aluminium and class leading steel construction methods that can help solve your project’s weight challenges.

CONTROL ROOMS

SKID PACKAGES

Onshore and offshore oil fields, often located in remote areas with harsh geographic and climatic conditions, also happen to require large quantiti-es of electrical power. On site power generation, transmission and distribution is required in order to provide power to a wide range of equipment and processes. Specialist Services partners with some of the world’s leading electrical solution providers helping oil fields take up the power challenge. We have designed, engineered and manufactured Electrical Power Skids for industry leaders to provide reliable and efficient power on site through innovative and environmentally sound methods.

Be it Substation Modules or Electrical Skids, Specialist Services skid packages are complete integrated solutions that are manufactured and tested at our yard for installation in remote loca-tions. Dependent upon the installation location, Skid Packages may require characteristics such as Certified Fire Rated Walls, be required to ope-rate in an atmosphere that demands ATEX certifi-cation or have specialist HVAC requirements. All of these solutions form part of our core product offering in which construction methodologies are prior type approved.

With the modularised, integrated solution con-cept developing within the oil and gas industry, trailer mounted solutions are fast becoming a go to answer when site access is problematic. The advantages that a Trailer Mounted Package brings, such as a ‘plug and play’ capability on site, ease of scalability, reductions in manpower and resources on-site, and shorter turnaround time for mobilisation and demobilisation, have made these completely integrated and tested mobile units a sought after solution.

To minimise costly downtime we stock a vast range of replacement parts and materials and client product specific kits. From fault diagnosis and repairs, routine service testing and inspec-tion, to refurbishment solutions, upgrades and modifications, we provide 24/7, 365 days a year global on call site service. Our services and maintenance team hold international certifica-tion, including maintenance and inspection of ATEX and IECEx equipment, F-GAS, REFCOM and IICL license.
