PROCESSIONAL HYMN #671 Shine, Jesus, Shine

CONFESSION

P In the name of the Father, and of the + Son, and of the Holy Spirit. C Amen

P Gathered by the Holy Spirit, let us confess our sin. (silence for reflection and self examination).

P Holy One who makes all things new C we confess that we have sinned against you and one another. We have wounded your creation by thing s we have done and things we have failed to do. In your infinite compassion, set us free from sin and death and lead us to the new life you have prepared for us.

P Through the death and resurrection of Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit washed over us in baptism, we have been freed from sin and death. Hear again this good news: God forgives all your sin. You are free to live the abundant life that is ours in Christ. C Amen . GREETING P The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. C and also with you .

HYMN OF THE DAY #303 Brightest and Best of the Stars

APOSTLE’S CREED I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord , who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead, On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

OFFERTORY HYMN #689 VERSE 1 Praise and thanksgiving, God, we would offer for al l things living, you have made good: harvest of sown fields, fruits of the orchard, hay from the mown fields, blossom and wood.

OFFERTORY PRAYER – P God of all creation, all you have made is good, and your love endures forever. You bring forth bread from the earth and fruit from the vine. Nourish us with these gifts, that we might be for the world signs of your gracious presence in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. C Amen .

GREAT THANKSGIVING P The Lord be with you. C And also with you.

P Lift up your hearts. C We lift them to the Lord.

P Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. C It is right to give our thanks and praise.

P It is indeed right and salutary that we should at all times and in all places offer thanks and praise to you, O Lord, holy Father, through our Lord. Sharing our life, he lived among us to reveal your glory and love, that our darkness should give way to his own brilliant light. And so, with the Church on earth and the hosts of heaven, we praise your name and join their unending hymn:
