The Social Worker will fill in the FAS Referral and Mental Capacity Act

Assessment forms within this episode. They will also upload relevant COP

documents.

They will then select the Task – “Pass to FAS Team to confirm acceptance of Referral”, and send it to the FAS Team. If the FAS team are willing to progress the

referral, they will complete the task and move to the next episode. If not, they

will reject the task and return it to the Social Worker with an explanation.

While the case is awaiting action by the FAS team, it will sit on a waiting list

and the FAS Ongoing episode will be assigned to the “FAS Virtual Worker”.

When it is ready to be investigated it will be assigned to a real worker.

The FAS Monitoring form will be updated by the FAS worker so that the Social

Worker can see a summary of the current state of the case. Full details will not

be recorded on Frameworki, but on the CASPAR system.

The presence of the FAS Ongoing episode on the Frameworki front screen will

indicate to the Social Worker that FAS are involved.

FAS Wokers will have read only access to Frameworki, except for the

ability to update the FAS REFERRAL and FAS ONGOING episodes.

They will also be able to update the NEW FINANCIAL ASSESSMENT

episode so that they can fill in form FSA3.

They also need to be able to set up Worker Relationships and view

assessed customer charge, and care package / PB details
