Micro Piezo™ Thin Film Piezo (TFP)Epson’s new solid-state Mirco Piezo™ TFP print head is the key to outstanding image quality. It features micro-fine nozzles that precisely place uniformly shaped ink droplets as small as 3.5 picoliter onto print media without misting or satellites for incredibly sharp, grain-free results. It also offers blazing fast throughput with 360 nozzles per colour, while a special ink-repellent coating reduces the occurrence of clogging.

Stunning 2880 x 1440 dpi ResolutionWith a maximum printing resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi, the Epson Stylus Pro 9860 produces incredibly sharp text and line art, extremely fine colour blends and photographic transitions. This enables the production of high quality output that is ready for immediate framing, eliminating the need for mounting. Besides photo paper, the Epson Stylus Pro 9860 can also handle papers with different qualities, including coated paper, acid-free paper, coated polypropylene paper, and more.
