• Double-click the eQuest v3-6 Setup.exe file…

•eQuest uses the industry standard “DOE-2” energy analysis program

•eQuest provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI)

•eQuest calculates hourly building energy consumption over a whole year (8760 hours).

• Gather site (Lat & Long) & weather data

• Identify building materials used

eQuest offers 2 simple zoning schemes: 1 zone per floor or perimeter / core model

Select building type

Choose “User Selected” Weather Coverage

Navigate to c:\Program Files\eQuest\Weather folder & select the AbuDhabi.BIN file

(You will need to copy the file to this location from your installation disc…)

Note: eQuest models only 3 floors above grade and uses a multiplier for more floors
