Written and verbal consent is obtained prior to and during the assessment to ensure the student is always at ease.
The Equipment
We supply a full range of equipment. Our Assessors will always recommend the appropriate product to suit a student’s individual needs. All items apart from custom made chairs are held in stock, ensuring quick delivery times.

Booking the Assessment
When a referral is received the student will be contacted on the same day.
The assessment is booked within 2 working days (pending student availability).
The assessment report is emailed to you within 24 hours of assessment. We therefore aim to return the full report and quote within 3 working days of referral.
The Assessment
Assessors understand the DSA process and produce the report specifically for the DSA.
During the assessment the Assessor will consider how the student’s study is affected by the symptoms of any existing conditions stated in their DSA1 letter and determine the best ergonomic solution to fit student’s needs.
The Assessor will take photos of existing chairs, tables, and other work stations. This can be useful to visually demonstrate the student’s personal circumstances to the funding body.
A range of body measurements are taken. This helps the Assessor ensure that the recommended equipment is suitable for the individual.
The assessment usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour and takes place at the student’s term time place of study.
