One day, a long time ago. Around
the year, ad 76. It was a normal
day, a few puffs of smoke from
Vesuvius. Here is the diary of a
shopkeeper on the day, Mount
Vesuvius erupted…
It was a normal day, a customer had
just asked me “ but what do you
sell?”
When there was a shake in the
ground.
Some of my items fell off my stall.
That is when I saw that Vesuvius was
spewing lava.
I ran for it.
As I ran I remembered a prophet, who
was dismissed, carrying a sign.
I hid further away and I saw my
hometown be destroyed.
I guess he was right.
