ERWC Module 2: River Rights: Whose Water Is

It?

Unit Goal Write a persuasive essay that compares two author’s

arguments on the issues of water rights, and discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with his analysis. Use ethos, pathos, logos to support your position, providing reasons and examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.

Today’s Objective: Students will develop background on the topic of the unit by completing a circle map, completing Cornell Notes on Video by Surfrider Foundation which analyzes the video’s argument and evidence.
