Goal for 8th grade Science FCAT : district average proficiency was to meet or exceed the state average

Results: district average proficiency on the 8th grade FCAT Science decreased by 2% (from 36% in 08 to 34% in 09)

we did not meet the state average of 41%, we missed beating the state average this year by 7%
