TOUR DETAIL4/10/19 - Yōkoso! Welcome to Japan!Your Japan adventure begins with your arrival into Tokyo, where KSG staff will meet you after you’ve cleared customs and immigration. Enjoy the lush, rural scenery as you are whisked from the airport to your hotel in vibrant, exciting Tokyo, the world’s mostpopulous metropolis. After check-in, you’re free to explore on your own. You might head out to Shibuya to see the world’s busiest intersection. Or try kaiten-zushi! Don’t miss the experience of sushi revolving around the counter in front of you. Just grab what you like!

5/10/19 - Match Day: England v Argentina, Tokyo Stadium, 17:00You are free to explore before the late afternoon match at Tokyo Stadium. You might check out traditional ‘down-town’ Tokyo in Sumida at the Edo-Tokyo Museum, and then visit ‘Sumo Central’ at the nearby Kokugikan sumo tournament centre and museum. Neighbourhood restaurants serve up chanko nabe, the stew eaten daily by sumo wrestlers. Later in the day we depart for the stadium by bus, and we’ll return you to your hotel by bus for this and all matches.Meals included: Breakfast.

6/10/19 - Match Day: New Zealand v Africa 1, Tokyo Stadium, 13:45You’ll have a bit of free time in the morning before our bus transfer to Tokyo Stadium for the early afternoon match, and you might go for a long walk along the cherry tree-lined river in Nakameguro, stopping at some of Tokyo’s best boutique coffee shops and bakeries.

Prepare your large luggage tonight for sending in advance and travel tomorrow with your KSG provided carry-on case. Meals included: Breakfast.

7/10/19 - Transfer to KyotoAfter breakfast board the Bullet Train bound for the Old Capital of Kyoto, and the scenery of autumn flowers and golden rice fields along the way should be stunning. After check-in where your bags will be waiting at your hotel, head out for a walk and breathe in the soft Kyoto air as you get your bearings around town. Head east from the hotel to the Kamo River, turn left to walk upstream, then head back west when you get to Sanjo-dori (3rd street) to get the feel of classic Kyoto. You’re free to explore on your own the whole day. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch Pack. 8/10/19 - Match Day: South Africa v Repêchage winner, Kobe Misaki Stadium, 19:15Enjoy a free day before the evening match and nibble your way through historic Nishiki Market, an open-air food extravaganza under an arcade of stained glass. Go early; it gets crowded by mid-day. See the Museum of Kyoto, housed in an old bank building, and don’t miss the excellent, elegant coffee shop in what used to be the vault. Check out the International Manga Museum, and browse four floors of illustrated comics, definitely not just for kids! In between are teahouses, coffee shops and small cafes galore to keep you going before our round trip to the picturesque harbour town of Kobe by chartered bus for the evening match. 9/10/19 - Kyoto TourExplore western Kyoto today as we stop in atKinkakuji, the ‘Golden Pavilion,’ then get your Zen on as you gaze at Japan’s most famous rock garden at Ryoan-ji. Head out of the city to Arashiyama and visit Tenryu-ji, a sprawling Zen temple compound dating to 1339, with gorgeous gardens and teahouses. End your day in awe as you traverse paths cutting through towering bamboo in the dark and mysteriousArashiyama Bamboo Forest. Prepare your large luggage tonight for sending in advance, and travel tomorrow with your KSG provided carry-on case. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch.

10/10/19 - Transfer to Tokyo After breakfast, travel by bullet train bound for Tokyo, where your bags will be waiting at your hotel. You have the entire day to explore on your own. Start at Harajuku, mecca of pop culture, and then walk through giant wooden torii gates into the sacred forest of Meiji-jingu, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Meiji emperor. Or head to an onsen ’theme park’ at Odaiba, where you can wear yukata to play Edo-era games, visit the cafés or have a massage when you’re not relaxing in the many pools and saunas. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch pack.

11/10/19 - Mt. Fuji TourFuji-san, as it is commonly known, is the highlight of the day. Japan’s tallest peak and an active volcano, it is the beloved symbol of the nation and a sacred mountain. Travel by bus to Lake Kawaguchi, serene reflecting pool for Fuji-san, then meander around the Oshino Eight Ponds for views of Fuji-san as a back-drop for traditional, rural scenery. Meet up with ninjas at the Oshino Ninja Village then enjoy lunch prepared

with local ingredients before heading up to Fuji-san’s 5th station (out of 10). Return to Tokyo by bus in time for dinner on your own.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch.

12/10/19 - Match Day: England v France, Interna-tional Stadium Yokohama, 17:15 Your morning is free to explore Tokyo before your afternoon bus transfer to the city of Yokohama, around 45 minutes south of Tokyo, to the International Stadium Yokohama to see England battle France. You might visit Asakusa’s Thunder Gate at Senso-ji, then hop up to the top of Tokyo Tower. Next, board the train for a quick trip to anime and electric town Akihabara. Meals Included: Breakfast.

13/10/19 - Today we say Sayonara as your tour comes to a close. Our team will arrange your transfer to either Narita or Haneda airport.Meals included: Breakfast.

13/10/19 - Match Day: Have a free morning after breakfast to explore the local surroundings of Tokyo.
