Adjectives
• ad·jec·tive ˈajəktiv/ Noun Grammar plural noun: adjectives• a word or phrase naming an attribute, added
to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.

Some practical tips to learning and using adjectives
1. Use the adjectives you like as many times as you can in your daily conversations or when you’re writing a description. The more you use it, the more you remember it!
2. Make sure you add your adjectives from time to time. Set a practical target on the number of adjectives you are going to add in your vocabulary list every month.
3. Check for the correct spelling and meaning of the adjectives you use. Make sure you’re using the right one.
In- Class Activity
1. Sit in groups of four. Each group will be given a jobs worksheet.2. On the jobs worksheet, write words that describe the people and characterize people in certain jobs.3. Once you have finished with the description, inform the instructor.4. Your group will be given a set of cut up pictures. Look at each picture and decide which description should go with which picture.5. When you do your description, make sure you consider the overall appearance and impressions you get from the pictures.6. Arrange your adjectives in the correct order when describing the person.
