    numerous Krakws pubs Bon Ton Club, whereYou have prepared tables with the names ofdifferent languages. Your task is to choose one,sit down and start talking! Thats the best wayto get to know other Erasmus as well as Polishstudents! So remember once for all MONDAY=TANDEM!:)

    But the Tandem Language Meeting is not the onlyactivity which our ESN Tandem Team hasprepared for You this semester! Once in a whilewe organize also TANDEM KARAOKE in TheLegends Music Club!     the morning and come back to Krakow about 6 PM. It's

    ESN Wieliczka Salt Mine Trip

    Wieliczka The Wieliczka Salt Mine, located in thetown of Wieliczka in southern Poland, lies within theKrakw metropolitan area. The mine had beencontinuously producing table salt from the 13thcentury until 2007 as one of the world's oldestoperating salt mines.The main attractions for tourists include dozens of

    statues and an entire cathedral that have been carvedout of the rock salt by the miners. About 1.2 millionpersons visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine annually.

    Warsaw, nurturing over 400 years of pride as acapital, is Polands largest city and an economic,political, and cultural centre. The symbol of the cityis the Mermaid, featured on the city seal. Warsaw is abustling metropolis and features an unforgettablehistory. A city where a fourth of the terrain is coveredby parkland and a city of culture.

    Aquapark in Krakow is one of the greatest aquaparksin Europe. It offers marvelous fun for all the family,featuring attractions such as sauna, water massage,jacuzzi, climbing walls and 800 meters of totallytwisted slides!

    ESN Auschwitz Trip

    KL Auschwitz in the years 1940-1945 - the biggestNazi concentration and death camp in occupiedEurope. Situated at a distance of 70 km from Cracowin the town of Owicim. The Auschwitz MemorialMuseum (founded in 1947) was included in the

    UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1979.

    During the tour you will visit both parts of theMuseum located in Owicim (KL Auschwitz I) andBrzezinka (KL Auschwitz II Birkenau).

Sandomierz was an important locationin the Polish history, it saw both days of glory(e.g. during the rule of Casimir the Great orSigismund I) and horrors of war (Tartarinvasions in the 13th century or the SwedishDeluge of 1655). The World War II leftalmost no mark on the town (but for minordamage), but it saw no renovation or repairfor years.     Pozna is now Poland's fifth largest city. It is thehistorical capital of the Wielkopolska.Pozna is an important centre of trade, industry,and education, and hosts regular internationaltrade fairs. It was the host city for the UnitedNations Climate Change Conference in December2008, a key stage in the creation of a successorto the Kyoto Protocol. Pozna was a candidatecity for European Capital of Culture in 2016.

    Tricity is an urban area consisting of three Polishcities: Gdask, Gdynia and Sopot. They aresituated adjacent to one other, in a row, on thecoast of the Gdask Bay, Baltic Sea, in Pomerelia(Pomeranian Voivodeship), northern Poland. TheTricity metropolitan area has a population ofover 1 million people. The name Trjmiasto wasused informally or semi-formally only, until 28March 2007, when the "Tricity Charter" wassigned as a declaration of the cities' cooperation.

    ESNalia 2012 Festival

    ESNalia is the new, constantly evolving project,which is created entirely by the members of the

    ESN. The events ambition is to become a fixedpoint on Krakow's calendar of events and thus

    make cultural schedule of the city more colorful.

    It is also worth mentioning that ESNalia is the

    only festival in Poland, with such a rich program

    aimed at foreign students, and whose primary

    objective is international integration.

    The Bochnia Saltmine is Europes oldest industrialplant, operated uninterruptedly for 742 years (1248-1990). Today, it is a tourist and spa destination,nicknamed a leisure den.Created by salt miners, Bochnia has a lot ofattractions to offer to its visitors. At the level of 220m (722 ft), there is one of the most interestingunderground tourist routes. You may expect someunforgettable experience, such as a slide down a 140

    meter (460 ft) ramp, once used for transportation ofthe salt, or a boat trip across a saline-floodedchamber at a level of 230 m (755 ft). A variety ofevents are held underground, such as film screenings,concerts, theatrical performances, discos. You mayalso play basketball or take part in an undergroundrelay race.
