Instructions for the use of

ESR(Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) Tube has 0.129M(3.8%) buffered tri-sodium citrate solution as anticoagulant to carry out the ESR measurements of Westergren method. The mixing ratio is 4 parts blood to 1 part citrate solution (4NC).

Glucose Tube was made to analyze the blood glucose consistently by adding EDTA K3 as anti-coagulant and glycolysis inhibitor, NaF (Sodium fluoride).

Blood should be aspirated to the marked position on the label of the tube.

When you use a disposable syringe to collect blood, remove a needle from the syringe first and pour the blood slowly to the side wall after opening the cap of V-TUBE.

Carefully remove Luer Adapter, Scalp Vein Set, Needle and so on after collecting blood to avoid needle stick. Contaminous disease such as AIDS, Hepatitis caused by needle stick can be prevented by wearing protective clothing and gloves.

Used Luer Adapter, Scalp Vein Set, Needle should be discarded.

V-TUBE should not be reused.

V-TUBE is stable at 4~25°C

Usage

Double pointed or Multi-needle is used together with Holder to collect venous blood. When the vessel of blood doner is weak or needle is uncomfortable to use, Luer Adapter and the needle of disposable syringe or Scalp Vein Set (Butterfly) is good to use as additional components.

No Additive Tube contains no other chmicals in the tube. Accordingly, blood clotting is considerably slow and serum separation is not distinct, so that general serum analysis excepting the test for the special purpose is not used.

Silicon coated Tube with silicon coated inside wall is used for analyzing general serum test because silicon properties make serum separation easier. After collecting blood, tube should be centrifuged within two hours at the latest. If biochemical analysis is not done at once, serum should be transferred to new container.

Clot Activator Tube with silicon and micronized silica particle coated inner wall can accelerate blood clotting and make serum separation easier. After collecting blood, tube should be centrifuged within two hours at the latest. If biochemical analysis is not done at once, serum should be transferred to new container.

After checking the balance of the tube, centrifugation with 3000~3500 rpm for more than fifteen minutes is recommended.

for Whole Blood and Plasma Analysis

EDTA K3 Tube is spread with EDTA K3 in liquid form to inner wall, immediate dissolution of EDTA K3 to blood can prevent micro clot of blood.

EDTA K2 Tube is spread with EDTA K2 in liquid form to inner wall and dried.

EDTA salt is known to preserve blood cell for 24 hours.

Sodium Heparin Tube contains Sodium Heparin in dried form inside wall. When it is mixed with blood, the coagulation is inhibited. This is used for chromosome study.

Lithium Heparin Tube contains Lithium Heparin in dried form inside wall. When it is mixed with blood, the coagulation is inhibited. This tube is available to biochemical analysis and immunoassay but not to chromosome study. After collecting blood, tube should be centrifuged within two hours at the latest. If the analysis is not done at once, serum should be transferred to new container.

Sandwich Tube with Double layer that small tube made of PP is inserted into the tube made of PET confirmed the accuracy and consistency of the result of the test by suppressing the coagulation effect caused by PET material.

0.109M (3.2%) Sodium citrate solution working as anti-coagulant was spread to the tube and its amount makes sure the mixing ratio of blood 9 parts and reagent 1 part (9NC).
