Background material for kick-off

Are there any existing standards already developed, e.g. for the color scheme of the ESS website?UPDATE: Roger Eriksson, Communications Division ESS confirmed such document exists

If not, can/should/shall the website serve as a de facto design direction?

Are there standards defined for any symbols to be used, e.g. automation symbols?

Are there any established relations with partner projects/facilities that could provide their standardization documents as additional guideline material (ITER, SNS, PSI, …) ?
