Mechanics and Criteria for the 66 th PSCC Founding Anniversary Essay Writing Contest A. Mechanics 1. The 66 th PSCC Founding Anniversary Essay Writing Competition is open to the students of Patria Sable Corpus College. 2. Each Department must have only one (1) representative. 3. All participants must be at the venue at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled contest briefing. If a participant comes late before the briefing at the specified venue, s/he shall be disqualified. 4. During the briefing, participants shall be assigned to specific seats. Once the examination starts, no participant shall be allowed to enter or leave the premise for whichever reason or purpose. 5. Essays are to be written within 1 hour in designated writing venue. 6. All entries must be written in English and must have at least 300 words and must not exceed 500 words or else he/she shall be disqualified. 7. The use of mobile phones and/or other electronic devices is strictly prohibited during the contest proper. 8. All entries will be judged based on content, originality, structure and style. B. Criteria for Judging All entries shall be judged based the following criteria: · Relevance to the theme – 45% · Originality – 25%

A. Mechanics

1. The 66th PSCC Founding Anniversary Essay Writing Competition is open to the students of Patria Sable Corpus College.

2. Each Department must have only one (1) representative.
