Interest for developing a handbook for MCH Simulation Centres…
Growing evidence that Simulation Based
Medical Education (SBME) has a
substantial positive impact on the daily
practice routine of health professionals in
Ukraine
Interest of other Ukrainian Regions in
adopting this innovative training/teaching
methodology
Objective
Guide professional communities within Ukraine and in other
countries where SBME has not been developed yet on
establishing Simulation Centres

Creating the handbook…
1. Content and chapters definition (Workshop with International/National
experts and PIO)
2. Assignment of authors/contributors and proof-readers. Includes
International/National experts in the areas of expertise: • Health Project Management
• Medical Education and Medical Simulation
• Health Technology Planning
• Medical Specialists such as Obstetricians, Anaesthesiologists,
Gynaecologist, Neonatologists, Paediatrics, Intensive Care
3. Draft creation and proof-reading of each chapter
4. Translation and Publishing
