These include: Children's play areas - look out for exciting play areas at Beacon Hill and Market Bosworth Park and the Jurassic play trail at Watermead North. Cycling, riding and walking trails - surfaced trails provide excellent cycling, riding and walking opportunities on all of our main country parks. A range of routes are available to cater for short strollers and distance walkers alike. Wonderful wildlife - our country parks are home to a wide range of wildlife. Visit the Reedbed nature reserve at Watermead North and look out for our bird feeding stations at Beacon Hill and Market Bosworth Park. Beautiful Countryside - connect with nature, relax and enjoy the wonderful, varied landscapes at all of our country parks. You’ll find spectacular views from the summit of Beacon Hill, beautiful parkland landscapes at Market Bosworth Park and tranquil reedbeds and wetland areas at Watermead North. Picnicing - enjoy our picnicing and barbeque areas at all our main country park sites. Sculptures - look out for the unique chainsaw sculptures along the trails at Beacon Hill and the animal characters at the main children’s play areas. Livestock - look out for our Longhorn and Highland Cattle, our rare breed sheep and our Alpacas, all of which help us to manage the heathland at Beacon Hill.
