How do you tend to travel?

On a recent flight with Etihad Airways, I was welcomed on board with big smiles and a friendly service.

When I arrived in the UK, I checked out the Etihad reviews online and found that Etihad had actually

won World’s Leading Airline for the past three years at the World Travel Awards but it’s very easy to see

why.

Once on board, the first thing you will notice is the light and spacious cabin. And of course the friendly

cabin crew. Each one is more than happy to tend to

your needs. Next it’s the on demand entertainment

system at every seat, the E-Box. Filled with over 600

hours of entertainment from films and documentaries,

right through to games, the E-Box will help the time fly

once you are on board.

In economy, the standard of food is also very good. Not many airlines can boast a choice of three meals

for the inflight dining. For those lucky enough to travel first and business class, fine dining can be

enjoyed on all flights and includes an all-day kitchen with meals such as steak sandwiches and mezzes

available at any point throughout the flight. For first class passengers, dedicated chefs are onboard to

tailor make your food and add to the onboard dining experience.

Of course no airline should be without its frequent flyer programme and Etihad’s is just as good as the

rest. The Etihad Guest loyalty programme allows passengers to accrue miles on their flights with Etihad

Airways and their partner airlines. Having read recent Etihad Airways

reviews saying that tier miles are only available on Etihad flights (not

partner airlines), this is a slight disadvantage, however if you

regularly fly on a global scale, Etihad’s numerous routes will be sure

to get you there. Launching in 2013 their first South American route

is just the start of their continued expansion to the world.

Based in Abu Dhabi, Etihad has gone from strength to strength, growing quickly since its incorporation

just a few years ago and having won a series of awards throughout the years.
