In a small laboratory, he immerses the facial masks in some “magic” ingredients, hoping that Paphy’s Facial Masks can work well on unhappy people. In this programme, you will learn the new words related to emotions, and the synonyms and antonyms for the word “happy”. 5. There are three emoticon games where the antonyms for HAPPY are presented on a brick wall. Draw pupils’ attention to the new words.

6. Watch the programme together. 7. The synonyms for “happy” come in sentences in the programme where people look

into the mirror after using the facial masks.

8. After watching the programme, distribute COPYMASTER 1, Part 1a to pupils. Ask them to write down three words that can describe how they feel at the moment, and tell their classmates with a reason. They might need to look up into a dictionary if they want to find out the slight differences in meaning between the new words. Teachers may give advice if necessary.

9. Write in complete sentences describing how the people feel in COPYMASTER 1, Part 1b. One has been done. Answers: a. He feels great! b. She feels wonderful/ great/ awesome/ good! c. He feels unhappy/ depressed/ down/ sad. d. He looks terrible/ miserable/ tired. e. She looks wonderful/ great/ good! f. She looks very happy/ awesome!

10. Teacher may share with the class some ways to stay happy such as listening to music, playing sports, having a good meal, etc.

11. Distribute COPYMASTER 2 to pupils. Put the instructions in sequence by writing 1,2,3,4, 5 in the brackets.
