Shanghai Major: EU open qualifiers day one wrap up

A bit over one thousand teams have signed up for the European qualifiers of Shanghai Major and only thirty two survived to see the second day of the competition. The winners will join the invited teams at regional qualifiers for a chance to compete at the winter season major in Shanghai, China at the beginning of March 2016. European bracket featured many well known teams and names and most of them made it into the top 32 squads that will continue their battle in the second day. An interesting appearance was the reincarnation of Burden United with Dominik "Black^" Reitmeier, Alexandru "ComeWithMe" Crăciunescu, Jonas "jonassomfan" Lindholm and Ionuț "Ar1sE" Turtoi as roster members but unfortunately they fall short in the 256 round. Another revived team, Kaipi with Pittner "bOne7" Armand in the captain role joined by other three promising Romanian players plus the experienced Frenchman, Sébastien "7ckingMad" Debs has had a better performance and actually advanced in the top 32. They will be facing today a team named kalei de scope in their first game of day two.The new rebranded and shuffled MamasBoys (ex 4Clover & Lepricon) have also survived the first day brawl and will continue their journey today alongside the new Greek stack of Giorgos "SsaSpartan" Giannakopoulos, Ad Finem, syndereN’s squad Steak Gaming and the Finns from STARK eSports.

Last year’s TI qualifiers CIS revelation, Yellow Submarine (YeS) now have a totally new roster and also made it in the  top thirty two. If they win the first encounter today with E-LAB they will face the winner between Be Water My Friend and Team Alternate.Yellow Submarine roster:
