VISION• Be Travellers’ FIRST choice

VALUES1. Deliver what we promise2. Serve customers passionately3. Do what we do, best4. Make work fun5. Care for employees6. Stay as one big family as we grow7. Be a good business partner8. Be socially responsible

PROGRESS AND MILESTONESEU Holidays was founded by a group of experienced directors passionate about their work in the travel industry. They wanted to do something new that could better serve the travel needs of consumers, which is the main driving force behind the establishment of our travel agency.

Within five years of business operations, we have expanded EU Holidays and opened up three other subsidiary offices to focus on the various needs of our customers. The EU MICE office was set up in 2013 to cater for corporate travel with a focus on corporate meetings, conventions and events.

In that same year, EU Asia was launched to cater for customers who are interested in travelling within Asia. In the following year, we opened up EU Vacations to serve the Malaysian market. In

doing so, EU Holidays strives to constantly improve our products and services so that we can better serve our customers.

Despite being a young company, EU Holidays has gained significant recognition from both customers and industry professionals. Founded in late 2010, EU Holidays was voted Top MasterCard Supporter in NATAS Travel for four consecutive years since 2012. Since then, EU Holidays was named the ‘Best Travel Agency for Europe and USA Tours’ as voted by readers of ESCAPE! Magazine.

After just two years in the business, EU Holidays was presented with two valuable awards – the Asia Excellence Award 2013 and the Singapore Excellence Award 2013.

In 2014, we received the Singapore Quality Brands 2014 award and the Weekender Travellers’ Choice Award as No. 1 for Europe and USA tours, as voted by readers. We continued to be awarded for the next three years by Weekender and held our position as the top travel agency in Singapore.

From Tripzillia.sg - Singapore’s No.1 Travel Portal – EU Holidays also acquired excellence awards in “Best for Europe 2015” and “Best for USA 2015”. The coveted award recognises the most outstanding travel companies for their professionalism and experience in the travel industry.

EU Holidays Pte Ltd has recently received the prestigious Singapore Trusted Quality Brand 2015 award from the Singapore Enrich Group.

In addition, the travel agency has gone through the year-long Customer- Centric Initiative (CCI) program and successfully attained the Singapore Service Class certification under the Ministry of Trade and Industry agency, SPRING Singapore. The agency certifies EU Holidays with the niche Business Excellence (BE) standard for service.

of holidaymakers flock to this sun-drenched nation for its sandy beaches, but many don’t know that Spain is just more than just home to sunshine and beaches.

If you’re a night owl or party animal, Spain is just perfect for you. The country of Spain has long been synonymous with fun, festive vibes, vivacity, great weather and most importantly, the vibrant nightlife. You will find a whole host of restaurants, bars, concert venues, pubs and clubs where you can enjoy a fantastic night out in town and party all night long, even until the sun comes up. It is common to see the Spanish gathering to have drinks and chat from about 10 in the evening until the wee hours of morning. We recommend heading to nightclubs in Barcelona if you’re a fan of techno and electronic music, or party in Madrid’s fashionable and designer clubs, whereas Valencia is renowned for their beachfront discos. With so many different options, your sojourn in Spain is guaranteed to give you a night to remember.

If there’s anything you can’t miss while in Spain, it’s their tapas. This is a Spanish culinary specialty that comprises of a variety of dishes, including local delicacies such as Iberian cured ham, the traditional potato omelette, exquisite seafood or even miniature haute cuisine specialities that are presented in small quantities in the form of tapas. Giving you all the local flavours of Spain in a single meal, sampling tapas is also an excellent way to experience Spanish culture in its purest form and enjoy the charms of the bars and taverns, among which there are some that specialize in tapas. The Spanish custom of going out for a round of the tapas bars is also considered as a prelude to a night of partying and

dancing, which usually start after midnight. On the other hand, Portugal has a

friendly, laidback atmosphere that renders it more low-key than its neighbour, Spain. A large part of the country’s charm is its fantastic coastline, flanked by glorious sands and dunes – perfect for languid days on the beach, relaxing and sun-tanning while sipping cocktails and beers. However, Portugal is also home to a rich legacy of historic cities, particularly Lisbon for its grand monuments and structures as well as medieval passageways.

The oldest capital in Europe after Athens, Lisbon’s history dates back to 300,000 years ago, when it was founded by Greek traveller and hero Ulysses and named Ulissipo or Olissipo, which means ‘enchanted port’. Indeed, the much-coveted city became a battlefield for Phoenicians, Greeks Romans, Carthaginians and even Spaniards during the early years, whom all wanted a piece of this coastal city with its strategic location. Lisbon became the world’s most prosperous trading centre during the Age of Discoveries in the 15th century as the main departure point for all sea expeditions, and the discovery of new colonies and a new sea route to India propelled Portugal to become one of Europe’s former imperial powers. As a result, the current Lisbon houses a multitude of historical architecture, treasures and World Heritage monuments, attributing to the various influences from its past. Yet, Lisbon is also quickly gaining a reputation as one of Europe’s trendiest cities with a flourishing night scene. Ranging from house and electronica to classical music, Lisbon offers a host of bars, clubs and even Fado houses where you can dance the night away.

MOROCCO

At first glance, Morocco seems to be a world away from Europe, though in reality, it is merely an hour’s ride on

the ferry from Spain. Located in Northern Africa, the Moroccan kingdom is a melting of diverse traditions and cultures, with traditional Islam as the main stronghold – a wholly unfamiliar territory for most visitors. Despite years under French and Spanish colonial rule, Morocco has persisted in retaining its own roots and culture as seen in the beautiful ancient medinas, whereas more modern cosmopolitan cities like Rabat and Casablanca comprise of a fascinating blend of the exotic and the familiar.

and built by the French Protectorate from 1912 to the 1930s as well as older parts of the city that dates back to 12th century. Among its ancient architectural treasures, the Oudayas Kasbah is a place not to be missed, an ancient walled area where the red ochre fortified walls stand in stark contrast with the inner walls and houses furnished in Mediterranean white and blue trim.

CasablancaThe largest city and port in Morocco, Casablanca is considered the economic capital of Morocco and right at the heart of Moroccan business. Despite it being the most European out of all Moroccan cities, it is home to one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world, the Hassan II Mosque. Revel in the intricate Moorish architectural style similar to the Alhambra or the Mezquita in Spain, and don’t miss the chance to view the tallest

minaret in the world where lasers shine a beam from the top of the minaret at night to point the way towards Mecca.

The Ancient Medina of FezA visit to Morocco is never complete without an experience of its ancient city centres, replete with old buildings, structures and traditions that stretch back centuries, transporting you back in time to the past. The medina of Fez stands out particularly, as the imperial city that is one of the best-preserved old cities in the Arab world. The former capital of Morocco was founded in the 9th century, and contains numerous monumental structures – madrasas, fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and fountains – that date from this period. Lose yourself in the narrow medieval lanes of history or delve right in and absorb the colourful noise and confusion of one of their bustling souks.
