Discussion: some statements…

Page 23: EurOccupations Expert session Construction May 22, 2008 Marseille

EurOccupations

Skill Cards should be compulsory for all occupations in the field of construction in Europe.

Statement 1

Page 24: EurOccupations Expert session Construction May 22, 2008 Marseille

EurOccupations

Statement 2

Skill Cards are an unnecessary bureaucratic hinder for both employers and employees.

Page 25: EurOccupations Expert session Construction May 22, 2008 Marseille

EurOccupations

Statement 3

Skill Cards help to fight the possible exploitation of workers by employers (protection of employees).

Page 26: EurOccupations Expert session Construction May 22, 2008 Marseille

EurOccupations

Statement 4

Skill Cards are an interesting option, but they hardly work “in the real world” (due to the difficulty to put skill cards into practice).

Page 27: EurOccupations Expert session Construction May 22, 2008 Marseille

EurOccupations

Statement 5

The EurOccupations initiative can be used to facilitate the introduction and implementation of Skill Cards in a variety of work areas.

Where do we go from here?

• Introduction of skill cards in construction?

• Future meetings?
