Let us lure you away from your everyday life as
Europe’s most beautiful cities and landscapes slide
peacefully past you. Breathe in the history of the
continent’s greatest rivers. This is the most relaxing
and convenient way to experience Europe.
The ms Amadeus Elegant is nothing other than a
luxury floating hotel impressing its passengers from
the moment they step on board. One of Europe’s
newest vessels, launched in 2010, designed and
built at the famous Dutch De Hoop shipyard. Setting
new standards and offering travellers the opportunity
to experience one of the finest vessels in Europe.
This custom designed boutique river cruise ship has
the capacity for 147 passengers, carrying less people
but having more space per passenger than most
other ships. All staterooms are spacious and superbly
designed, with modern bathrooms. All outside cabins
are staterooms with 85% featuring all-weather
French balconies with full-size sliding doors.
The ms Amadeus Elegant has the added feature
of having nine luxury Amadeus suites which are 46%
larger than a standard stateroom. Allowing more
passengers to enjoy an upgraded experience instead
of the standard two or four top end suites offered on
other river ships.
The public areas are well-designed for top-class cruise
enjoyment. The glorious sun deck with its 360o views,
lounge chairs, walking track, lido bar, putting green
and giant chess board is an inviting place for people
to relax and enjoy the ever changing scenery. The
elegant Amadeus Club lounge, library and wellness
area are also available for use at your leisure.
See pages 50 - 51 for Stateroom pictures and Ship plans.

EUROPEAN RIVER CRUISINGTHE HEART AND SOUL OF EUROPE’S GREAT CITIES
CRUISE THROUGH THE HEART AND SOUL OF EUROPE, STOPPING AT BUSTLING COSMOPOLITAN
CITIES AND CHARMING RIVERSIDE TOWNS AND VILLAGES. YOU WILL SAIL THROUGH EUROPE’S
BROAD AND MIGHTY RIVERS THAT DURING TIME HAVE SHAPED THE HISTORY, DESTINY AND
CULTURES OF THE COUNTRIES THROUGH WHICH THEY PASS.
If you dream of Europe, you must also have heard
of its romantic rivers. Experienced travellers agree
that a river cruise is one of the most enjoyable and
hassle-free ways to explore castles, cathedrals, historic
townships and picturesque villages. You’ll not only
view incredible sights along the famous waterways,
but you’ll also connect with the real Europe.
We welcome you aboard, unpack once, settle in to
your private stateroom and feel at home, as you cruise
between amazing cities and towns. Almost always
you’ll dock in the heart of the cities and towns, step
off your ship and be immersed in European culture
straight away. No long journeys sitting and waiting
to arrive. Every day enjoy scrumptious included
breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Unlike ocean cruising you’ll enjoy an intimate cruising
experience with only 147 passengers and you won’t
spend time staring at the flat blue horizon. Visit a new
unique city or town everyday. No wasted travel days
as you relax and are absorbed in Europe’s heartland
and its traditional river trade routes.
We’ve chosen the new luxury boutique river cruise
ship (or floating luxury hotel) ms Amadeus Elegant. For
15 glorious days, you’ll wind your way along grand
European rivers between Amsterdam and Budapest.
Evergreen’s city extensions in Paris, Prague and
London are the perfect addition to create the ideal
river cruising holiday. They are designed for travellers
wanting to explore some of Europe’s major cities
both independently and guided, with the confidence
of knowing Evergreen’s knowledgeable and expert
staff are there to help if needed.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without prior written notice to you.47. The Captain’s Welcome and Farewell Dinners are dressy but not formal. For winter months we recommend a warm coat, gloves, water-resistant footwear and an umbrella.
• Currency and Credit Cards Most countries visited in Europe will use the Euro although some still have their own local currency. For small purchases ashore or in small towns, local currency is advantageous. Many locations accept major credit cards. ATM machines are located onshore at some stops. Prior to departure passengers should confirm that their ATM card and PIN will work overseas. All purchases on board are charged to the passenger’s shipboard account. The on board currency on river cruise ships is the Euro.
RIVER CRUISING• Cruise Director An experienced English-speaking Cruise
Director accompanies every departure. They are there to ensure your comfort, answer questions and make your holiday relaxed and memorable. Cruise Directors are employed by Evergreen.
• On board Language The language on board is English. All staff, crew and tour guides speak English and all announcements and lectures will be made in English.
• Medical Services River Cruise Ships do not carry a doctor on board, however due to close proximity to land medical services can be called rapidly. Medical costs are at the passenger’s own expense. Due to the large number of passengers on board, Evergreen cannot provide a personal escort for medical visits. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
• Electricity On board electricity is 220V. A power plug adaptor will be required to use small appliances such as electric shavers, clocks, mobile phone chargers, etc.
• Hairdryers Are available on board in all cabins• Laundry The ships laundry will wash and iron your clothes at an
additional charge. There is no dry cleaning on board the ship.• Dining Dining rooms are single dining sessions, open,
unreserved seating – the restaurant manager is responsible for the seating arrangements.
• Seat Rotation To ensure all passengers have the opportunity to enjoy front and window seats, a daily seat rotation system is employed on all of our coaches. You are required to adhere to the seat rotation system. If you suffer from travel sickness you should arrange medication or other alternatives to treat symptoms, as we cannot make allowances for this.
• Evergreen Tours After Hours Emergency Number When calling in Australia the number is freecall 1800 620 105.
• Book with Confidence Plan The “Deposit Protection Plan” fee is $55 per person (including GST). The fee is non refundable and must be paid at the time of booking your tour. Where you cancel a tour, and the Deposit Protection Plan applies, Evergreen Tours will hold the deposit paid by you for Evergreen Tours products only (i.e. not products provided by third parties e.g. air travel) and will credit that portion of the deposit on alternative Evergreen Tour products booked within 24 months of the cancellation, after which time the amount will be forfeited.
