2nd Day: Ferry - Trelleborg - Stockholm - Ferry

1st Day: arrival Cluj Napoca - Targu Mures

1st Day: Arrival Baia Mare

Today you will drive to Baia Mare. Already at the border in Petea you meet your tour guide for the next few days. It continues in the tradition-conscious Maramures area. The originality of the villages, the lived traditions and untouched nature will inspire you.

2nd Day: Baia Mare - Campulung Moldovenesc

A sight of a special kind is the "Merry Cemetery" in Sapanta. On the blue-painted crosses also a funny verse is carved next to the fully colored painted half portrait of the deceased. Then visit the world famous wooden churches of Barsana and Rozavlea that are identical to the stave churches in Norway. Seven of these buildings are on the UNESCO list of monuments worthy of protection. Your route then continues across the Carpathians into the landscape of Bukovina, Bukowina. She has a special magic with rolling hills, sparkling rivers and the steep slopes of Calimani Mountains.

3rd Day excursion to the monasteries of Moldova

Afterwards drive to Cluj Napoca, the former Cluj. First you visit the city on a tour, the Michael Church, of course, is a must here. The area is dominated by mountains and forests. 5th Day: Cluj Napoca - home

Today we unfortunately goodbye to Romania.

1st Day: Budapest, the pearl of the Danube

Budapest, the Hungarian capital, is the visitor attraction # 1 in Hungary and an international metropolis with a long past. Especially at night when the city lights are reflected in the Danube River, the city shows all her magic.

2nd Day: Arrival in Romania

In Romania you can find influences from East and West, a cultural and linguistic diversity, as they are rarely seen. The mixture of cultures makes the special atmosphere of the country. You can reach the border crossing Nadlac, meet your tour guide for the next day and drive over Arad continues to Deva.

3rd Day: Capital of Culture Sibiu and Bucharest

4th Day: Until the Black Sea

In the morning there is a city tour of Bucharest with photo stop at the Parliament, the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon, on the program. You will see the Patriarchal Church. You will then have free time to enjoy a traditional lunch or take a short stroll through town. The tour continues for the most part over the highway. North of Constanta is the famous seaside resort Mamaia, your site for the next few days.

5th Day: Coast trip

After breakfast take a reconnaissance trip along the coast. You learn different resorts know and have the opportunity to go for short walks and lunch. The afternoon is at leisure. As an alternative program you can also take a trip to Constanta and winery Murfatlar plan. In Constanta you will see the promenade, the casino, the old lighthouse, the Orthodox Cathedral and much more. Then drive located in the wine region Murfatlar, west of Constanta. Here you have the opportunity to taste the wines Dobrogea.

6th Day: the wonderful Danube Delta

For today, we recommend a trip to the Danube Delta, a protected UNESCO natural paradise. From Tulcea the boats go by the Danube Delta, a bird and fish paradise and one of the main tourist areas in Romania. There is a delicious 3-course lunch on board the ship. Explore this unique river basin, take your time, because there are no motors, just a lot of peace and quiet. The night is again provided in Mamaia.

7th Day: Dracula's footsteps

You drive back to the Carpathians. In the afternoon you reach Bran, the former Bran Castle, where you will visit the medieval castle. Built by Saxons in the 14th the Kronstadt Century, it is famous as 'Dracula Castle' today. Here is the view from there more to dream than to shudder. Dinner and overnight are provided in Brasov.

8th Day: The Old Transylvania

First you will visit the old town of Brasov with the Black Church, the largest Gothic religious building in Eastern Europe. Continue to Sighisoara, the old Sighisoara. During a tour you will see the old town with the clock tower and the mountain church. Your route takes you further to Cluj Napoca, the former Cluj. Dinner and overnight.

9th Day: Farewell to Romania

The city tour begins in Cluj at the Catholic St. Michael's Church and continues along the former defensive wall, up to the Orthodox Cathedral. Afterwards drive to Oradea. You say goodbye to the Romanian guide at the border crossing boron. The last stage is the trip to Budapest.
